Default Help needed fellas :-)

Shpouldnt really post it here as its not a glory hunt BUT im stuck and puzzled and want to pick your brains

CORKER of a bet - Fastest goal in tourny !!!

I did the above bet pre-tourny , now if i get through tonights game there`ll just be the final left . Any ideas how to cover my bet ??? The only option i have come up with is to back 1st goal 0-10mins at Betfair at around 6 , but thats gona wipe away 20% of my profits on the bet . Ideally i want to back a goal 2mins or b4 but cant find anything remotely like that ....

Any1 any ideas ??

Cheers in advance

Agreed, for the sake of 2 minutes, you SHOULD be fine. Just think is there a 20% chance of a goal in the 1st 2 1/2 minutes - NO. The only way you would end up happy is if a goal was scored after 8 minutes, but i expect the final will be quite cagey.

Hopefully it will be Spain v the Germans as I have a lumpy lay on Russia to reach the final

Let it ride mate.

I understand it's getting a bit nervous, but the very slim chance of an early goal does not justify sacrificing 20% of the profit. Stay a cool customer

Yeah, lay it and then back it after 3 minutes.

Laying 0-0 isnt an option as i stand to win just over £900 so that would cost me £11k to lay !!!

Ive contacted Sportingbet to ask if i can come to an agreement ,as the markets closed and ive no way of getting out and they just said NO!!

The chances are indeed very slim BUT its £900 and its been spoken for ,for a while now (depending on it winning of course) ...........

Id love to find a bookie who offers me a bet on a goal in the first 2 , or even 5 mins . The best i can come up with though is 0-10 mins which will be around 4/1 , meaning im laying out £180 and i wana do better than that . Im mean ok , if i get over 2 mins then ive got a free 8 mins where i could land both bets , but i dont really have that cash in my bank and im loathe to touch my horse laying money as ive reached my deposit limit with neteller and cant get any money into Betfair for about 6 months !!

The main point though is that i do not trust germany to keep anyone out, and it would be very galling to get 30 games in the bag and lose on the last leg !! So i WILL be getting out somehow , lol

Just my 2 penneth mate, I would also let it ride. Both semi finals were cagey in the first 15 and can see it being the same on Sunday.

I would also let it ride.... it isn't our money though... perhaps you should get really drunk before the match and then you won't be nervous

Brave bet, with a great return

Agree with all above. Let it ride. I understand the position you are in. You could try someone like Sporting-index & see if you can sell player goal minutes or etc. I don't think the Germany Spain market is up yet. Sorry if this sounds complicated, but maybe a last resort. Might be wise to ring them up and enquire about a bet.

There may just be a god. Though you will have to clarify. On Sporting-index there's a fastest tournament goal spread (in seconds). Fastest at the moment is 215 seconds, so you could sell that on the spreads market which would effectivley be backing a goal under 4 mintues. I would ring them upto check though. I am not a big spread man myself so you will have to confirm it with sporting-index.
