Thank heavens for bettrader and thank heavens for scotty who's helped me get these images posted. Cheers

As you can see though, I started with £13.30ish today and ended with £18.01.

All totally random laying every horse in every race in running for the same price as every race favourite prior to the off

So after the first full days documenting of this method who wants to offer some feedback

It's actually a lot more time consuming than I thought so I won't be able to post the favourite each day. It's kind of this or nothing or I won't have a life

But basically I will post screen shots of the entire day every evening and will always look to lay the favourite in every race prior to the off.

Just set everything up for tomor until 5.00 and layed the favourite as things stand in all of those.

Offski to bed

It doesn't matter when you set it up mate..... the key to this is laying a horse at odds "x" and then making sure that the total number of horses layed in the race is "x+1" all at the same price.

You can't lose as long as the "x+1" is achieved.

what happens if a market gets reset due to a non-runner ?
do you need to re-enter any unmatched bets at the new price ?

On Betfair at the end of a day goto "My Account" and then "Betting P/L" ,
( you can download the day's result in a spreadsheet if you want )
posting that overviewpage, as screencapture or c&p, is fine.
Should save some time.

When the market resets it just adjusts my liability on all bets matched and unmatched.

The p/l sheet for the day could help as posting all that was a total nightmare

Thanks

I should add that when the markets reset I did initially look to place new lays up to the original liability but this is way too much hassle

Certainly looks like you have had a good but long day!!

That's a significant profit considering the stake you are using, well done

I am having a shot this afternoon with £2 stakes just to see how it goes, I will report back at the end of the day. Doubt I will be doing every race though....

The first race I tried the 1420 worked well though with 3 horses matched at 4.0 for a £3 profit or something... 2 of them were matched before the off (lol take that back I was blind and actually lost £2 on that race)

Aldric
3 Horses matched at 4.0 would surely give you a breakeven,not a 1.5point profit?
Or am I missing something??
LIOM.

Sorry for hijacking your thread HG!!

LOL that last race was funny... I put a lay on the favourite at 5.0. There were 8 horses running and it was a 1m nursery....

Watching away as the lays were getting matched, ended up with 7 out of the 8 being matched at 5.0...

I'll go away again now,

Yeah, apart from1 race there don't appear to be too many horses getting involved in each race. Still hovering arund break even for the day though so plenty of time....
