Cheers mate , but its not that hard tbh when you consider that only 8 of my selections were 1.14 or above and the highest odds and biggest risk i took was Hendry to win a frame @ 1.33. But it does go to show that if you get the good things together it soon mounts up to a tidy amount .

Of my last 3 i think Ajax cant fail , i watched the 1st leg ,Ajax won 2-1 and hit the woodwork at least 4 times . The last 4 games at Ajax between the 2 have ended 4-0,4-0,4-1,4-0 , and theres clearly a gulf between them . Id have Ajax around 1.15 , so get Ajax and the draw at 1.11 is very good ,even though its short.

Litex Lovech play a team who have conceded at least 4 goals in their last 8 games and are relegated , losing something like 30 games in 34 (even worse than Derby!!) , and with Litex having good home form and needing to win to get in the Uefa cup places it looks like a steering job .

The Stoke 1 is the dicey 1 if their is to be a slip as they are under big pressure to get a point to get promotion . And opponents Leicester need to win if Southampton beat Sheff Utd at home . Having said that Sheff Utd need to win also to get in the playoffs so Southampton wont find it easy and if they get beat Leicester wont be that bothered . Also Stoke are simply a much better team than Leicester and should win . I added the draw also as there could be a scenario where Southampton are losing/drawing and Hull are winning and then a draw becomes vital to both teams ,so no chances will be taken attacking with so much at stake . Either way , again i cant honestly see Leicester winning and id have it a good bit shorter than the 1.20 ive managed to snaffle . I saw Stoke recently draw at home to Palace and they should havehad 12 goals in the 2nd half and Palace are 6th !!

Have you considered to set a lowest limit to the odds you take? Something like 1.05 maybe?
It seems that when you get down to 1.01 the net return does not match the risk taken, "anything can happen in football blah blah"

If Im using Betfair then my lowest odds would indeed be around 1.05 , but as im using Sportingbet and they butcher the odds when inplay i dont really have a choice . Also i stated many times this thread its all about the number of winners on the spin NOT the money i win , so a 1.01 is as good as a 100.00 , though obviously not financially as good . I just back what i see as a good thing , no matter what the odds , i take whats available . Not bery scientific but unfortunatley very true .

Then wouldn't it make sense to only bet the 1.01's ?

It would take longer time as they maybe don't appear that often, but if your target is 200 winners in a row,
with no regards at all to financial results, that would be the "safest" way to go?

IMO Hoo , everything i back on this thread IS around 1.01 , as i only back what i consider almost certain . So from that viewpoint i guess im getting tremendous value with most of my selections arent i ? Others would argue differently ,but so far im 22 on the spin . The only dodgy 1 was the Hendry frame win , and he had the colours to pot , all on their spots , and he was leading 3-1 and playing superbly ,and has it happened he missed the yellow but luckily still won the frame . If youve gotten 1.33 every time hendrys cleared the colours over the years you`d be a very rich man by now .

And your point about 1.01s being safest , thats for people with no thought or knowledge of sport who just blindingly follow the odds and not the sport itself imo ,as you and i know ,1.01s lose every day . If it was that easy we`d all be doing it , lol

was going to reply with something similar. 1.01 is just someones view that 1 in 100 there will be a loser, but we all see things differently!!
And who is to say a 1.01 is less likely to happen than a 1.10 in the real world??
I very rarely look at the odds either, thats why my threads range from 30/1 to 200/1 today!!
