Well, barring a complete disaster bet number 3 is in! (infamous last words eh?). Must admit though I was a bit concerned at one point - Hants had drifted out to over 3, and Warwickshire were favourites to take it, with apparently Hants score of 206 being a low one (I aint no cricket expert so didnt know whether that were good or bad!). Anyway apparently Warne stole the show and bowled out their ace batsman - good old Aussies eh?

So that'll put the bet on £56.51 after 3 rounds - a nice start indeed.

The only other comment is, rather bemusingly, each and every one of the tennis 'nearly' bets came in - lol! If only Id decided to stick em all on Id be up to the 7th bet and have a nice hefty balance of £428.65 Ah well!

Multi-betting though - even though it came in today - is one that Im trying to veer away from, as undoubtedly thats where the whole system would fall. So lets just put it down to a flash in the pan. Still interesting though that the tennis is throwing up some nice markets/prices - definately one to bear in mind for future bets and well worth some more insight into.

Okay, just spent ages writing up a full detail of bet number 4 only to see it vanish at the last second! Grrrrrr...hate it when that happens!

So just to let you know number 4 is Julien Benneateau to beat Michaael Berrer 2-0. Im not confident of this one to be honest, but lets wait and see. £56.51 @2.25 could return £127.15.

Well hes certainly doing this the hard way. In the 2nd set he lost his 2nd serve and was 4-2 down. Hes come back to break serve again to level to 4-4, and his next serve was 40-0 up then Berrer came back to level at deuce before Julien nicked it. Now 5-4 up - if he can nick Berrers laast serve its in the bag - apologies for the running commentary but this is rather exciting! oh and nerve wracking - god knows what I'll be like if this was one of the higher stakes!

Right Im back - and what a glorious weekend it was too - while the rest of Britain appeared to be wetting it up we were sunning it on the beach at Portmadoch (or whatever its called) - quality!

Oh and sorry Semi but the sheep didnt make it as far as the beach

So back to the hunt, and with today seeing the early round of Wimbledon I thought Id have a gander if anything was worth while. One match has stood out and thats Amer Delic v Lukas Dlouhy. An Ames win has been touted by a number of people (on another site) and is clear favourite at 1.53. Not exactly the odds Im looking for, but a 3-1 or a 3-0 win are 3.5 and 3.75 respectively, which when combined gives a price of 1.8 - perfect! Now with the stakes starting to get a bit nervy, Ive done a little bit of research and the results have persuaded me to have a stab. Delic hasnt exactly had a great time on grass in the past, but recently he turned this round beating 155th ranked Gimelstob 2-0 and lost out slightly to 35th ranked Bjorkman going down by 2-0 but these were close games at 5-7 and 6-7. Delic is currently ranked at 67th compared to Lukas 107th. Lukas recent form (also on grass) was beating a non seeder 2-1 and losing to Tipsarevic (ranked 64th - very similar ranking to our Amer). What is interesting though is that Lukas has played a lot more games of doubles than singles and is currently ranked 19th. For me this suggests that he concentrates more on and much prefers playing doubles - does this therefore mean that he simply plays singles to keep his hand in? Would he therefore be as bothered if he lost today? This is a big factor for me - and along with Ames better ranking/form reckon its a good bet for number 5. Both players are of similar age (25 and 26), but Ames is quite a tall bugger being 6'5 compared to 6'1 - another advantage? Oh and Lukas is a double handed backhander - a sure girly sign is it not? And just for further information - not that I think this has any bearing on the game mind you - Lukas's sister is called Barbara while Amers is Lejla - the latter sounds much more cool and Id rather win it for Lejla than a Barbara. Curiosly enough his sister (Lejla) also lives with him

So as you can see, Ive done my homework (I think!) - and the current pot of £127.15 needs to be split to cover both bets. This works out at £65.77 and £61.38 for each to return either £230.20 or £230.18. For anyone who's interested the match kicks off at 17:00 (or is it 18:00?) so I'll once more be crapping myself up til about 6.30 - 7 oclock. Good job its pool night tonight, so I can have a few beers to calm myself down after - and hopefully celebrate!
