Although I would disagree with Scotty about it being total pot luck. I do think that 0-0's can pop up very randomly, but I still think that their possibility can be avoided in a long run. That could either be first bet or 100th bet. In this case, it was 1st bet, so its sad to see this end even before it began.

Well i agree 100% with Scotty , its the most random thing in the world the 0-0 draw ,why i bothered i`ll never know , but my positive out of this is that i`ll never lay 0-0 again as long as i have a hole in my arse

And better to lose on bet 1 rather than bet 101 .

These last 3 weeks have been the longest of my life !! Ive found 3 horse winners @ 80+ and laid um , ive laid a 0-0 correct score , and numerous other bets that you wouldnt expect to lose that have , all in succession

Hell i even backed a cricket team the other night chasing 300 on a very good batting pitch and were all out for 66 , i mean wtf !!

MR A, bad luck tonight mate, laying 0-0 in a friendly though? not for me.
Would also disagree saying 0-0's are pot luck. I trawled through some stats over the past few seasons and created a system with a 97% strike rate last year and encountered a winning run of 42 if I'm not mistaken. Avoid cup games teams that have nothing to play for too!!

HG, the more I think about it the more form study and less statistics you use, the more successful you'll be when it comes to horse laying. This of course will NOT be the case when my 2% thread fails haha

97% at these odds mate isnt enough , i mean seriously !! Not going into facts now cozim too tired but the classic was when werder bremen played az alkmaar in the uefa cup , both were scoring bagfulls and conceding bagfulls , 6-4 either way every week . Over 2.5 was something like 1.17 pre kick off , and 1+ was 1.01 !! You guessed it , 0-0 , no chances for 90 minutes . .. Barcelona made 3 0-0s on the spin last season , what were the odds on that ? As did Bayern..... And real made a few ... you`ll do well to find a team in any league that didnt make a 0-0 last season , or any season for that matter .

Mate I didn't touch a bet if the odds were less than 14.5, also you said it CUP game, different mentality altogether and Barcelona, simply don't let in enough goals to qualify for the system. Both teams have to be conceding regualrly.

Anyway, I'll let you sulk for a while I'm sure you'll come back fresh into the season
