Punters Lounge Player Rankings are HERE!!!!

There will be one "Focus Game" a night. Your performance in that focus game will be recorded. Your best 5 results over a rolling 28 day period will make up your ranking.

I will choose the focus game in my sole judgement, though open to suggestions!! Typically, if there is a PL League game, then that will be it. After this I will try and choose a high value added game. I will try and choose a mix of freerolls and varying buy ins - to give everyone a chance......

Double points are awarded for PL exclusive games.

Some nights the focus game will be selected based on popularity - the option with the most selections at the time specified in the daily poll(or as soon after as any mod announces the result) will be the focus game. Rebuys can not be focus games, but popular password protected games can be (this does not mean passwords can be published on the forum).
- The most popular game selection cannot will be at least 1 hour after the close of the poll.

In the event of a tie for most popular game, the following tie break will apply:
- The later starting game will be the Focus game
- If both games start at the same time, the option listed highest in the poll will be focus game.

In the event that the most popular choice has less than 5 votes, there will be no focus game on that evening.

PL'rs are expected to play this in the friendly spirit it is intended. One of the ways we expect this is that only you play for yourself to earn BPP points - you should never use subs and claim BPP points.

Our usual formula for scores will be used. (so no account is taken of buy in - just position and number of entrants - this is the same for everyone).

For non PL League games, the poll in the daily thread will be used as a "roll call" of PL players - if you are playing in the Focus Game, please ensure that you vote yourself in in the daily thread.

The leader of the rankings at any point in time will be the "Best Poker Player" (BPP) and have earned the right to display the initials BPP after their name on PL (your username will be changed for this purpose).

Will periodically review how it is working and will revise as appropriate.
