So how did you get on. After I was knocked out I played a $10 sat and have now qualified for a final. The only problem is it starts at 3am today (in about 1 hrs time).
Its going to be a long night.

Finished about 1000 that tourney is such a crapshoot its funny oh well no complaints its free.

There is another free tournament on Paradise tonight at 10 pm and one at 3am.

Managed to double up early on .Went all in with KK on the button with a few raises got called by A7s happy days until an ace came out on the turn.

I'm getting used to the bad beats now so it didn't bother me I'm just glad the way I played.Not doing too badly on some STT's I'm defininatly learning to play better.The advice on this forum is brilliant.

Wahey eventually got through this, with probably the biggest collusion on an online poker table seen for a while. Where we all kept each other in from about 70 left. Final on sunday.

Got a question. Bet365 put market for making final table in WSOP. Odds start from 25-1. Now if we pick let say 15-20 of them for a quid each and one makes it, then we are in profit. Any more of them and we are loaded. Is that a good idea or is it a pure lottery? Surely we can pick 10 and one of them most probably make it. Any opinions?

I've just been to bet365 to have a look at the market. My first impressions are it holds no initial value. Yes these players are more likely than anyone else to make it to the final, but the huge field at this years WSOP main event (6000 possibly more) makes it far too much of a lottery to bet on anyone making the final, let alone at these odds. Luck plays a huge elemant in poker, and although there will be massive starting stacks and low blinds it will be the players that have the cards fall for them that make it, a fair book here would have to have much longer odds. The majority of the final will probably be unknown players. They have the favourite right, negranaeu is the best tournament player out there and on his day is untouchable - ivey is the best cash game player imo and I would have put him joint fave with negranue. The closest to a longer "value" bet imo would be hoyt corkins at 81.00....solid player who makes great reads, has won WPT events in the past and someone I rate highly on the circuit. However I would most definately have to advise no bet on this market.

That is not to say you cant find value in WSOP markets....plenty of bookies lack experience in pricing this sort of thing and already mistakes have been made this year....one major one was posted on the hendon mobs website and for the life of me I cannot remember it now :o..it was taken down by the bookie before I could post it on here tho..so if we all look around we could well spot one.
