Reading about Damo, and Goalpoker and the chances of a PL playing there increasing almost on a daily basis (or so it seems). I decided to have a look at the official site ( http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/ ).

It makes for some interesting reading (imo), especially when you discover you can get a shot (in Vegas) in a super satellite for as little as $225. AND that you get a 25% discount on your accomodation just for playing.

they run sats every day for any event - so if you win a 10K place, you don't have to just use it for the main event, but can buy into any event(s) you want to (except the HORSE event as thats a 50K buy in

)

Dave Colclough had a good series of posts last year about it, I think on pokerineurope.com ??

bargain really, $225 to win $10 million

I take it back - this year u can only use your 10K chips from a super sat for the main event - most odd

Last year you could use them to enter any tourny (IIRC)

The only problem i would have is if you do get to the final table you will have been playing cards under intense pressure for 13 days.I'd need to re-check back into the loony asylum after all that.I think I'll stick to the PuntersLounge tournys.

I am TOTALLY CONVINCED that we are going to have a PL'r at WSOP main event this year....

who cares, if you finish in 10th u will pocket close to a $million - I could put up with a weeks hassle for that.....

i really want to go to Vegas (and i'm sure I will) however it clashes with the World Cup, so I might not go lol

Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.
