Don't remember seeing anything about this on here ?

I got an IE newsletter by email a couple of weeks ago and was ready to play in the first tourney last Thursday when it just didn't take place (lucky as it turned out 'cos was having connection problems that night !).

Now see that I am in this Thursday's tourney instead and only 8 players currently showing in the entries - although I expect are already more who will appear on the night.

Promotion codes are available on the Inside Edge website (look for 'VC Poker Nights').

Now I've read it again only entry into the 3rd qualifier is still available :-

After travelling the length and breadth of the country playing – and drinking – through six live heats, VC is now putting on three online tourneys to qualify into the Poker Nights £5,000 live final. This is your last chance to take one of the nine seats at the grand final, which is due to be held 7 May in an exclusive London card club.

10-18 April: Register using ......... for entry into the 20 April tournament
18 to 25 April: Register with .......... for entry into the 27 April tournament


25 April and 2 May: Register with .......... for entry into the

4 May tournament

Once you've racked up 100 VC Action Points playing online (which you'll clock up after $10 of raked hands or playing a $10 sit-and-go) you'll automatically be put through into one of three satellites for the live final.

How to get involved:

1. Download VC’s software
2. Set up a real money account
3. Click on the cashier page
4. Click on Promotions (bottom of left hand menu)
5. Enter the bonus code and submit (Check the correct code for the date! See above)
6. Earn 100 Action Points

Thought it did take place - could have swore I played in it. Definitely remember getting the raked hands.

On th eother hand have just checked and am registered for tomorrow nights (id philross) ... gosh I'm one confused muppet .... if theres only 8 (i.e no more appear) will they let it run?

Like Runadrum, I was supposed to be in this last week.

Live support told me as there were only 8 players registered they were cancelling it. The guy said they cant run a MTT with less than 9 players.

They moved the 8 from last week forward to this week.
If there is only 8 entrants come Thursday I guess they'll cancel it again

Will be interesting to see what happens. 3 seats in the live final up for grabs through the 3 freerolls. 1 has been cancelled, possibly 2. The final freeroll could end up with a dozen players with top 3 gaining entry to a 9 man live final .

VC lobby was showing 0 entrants with 30 mins to go last week. When I contacted live support I got the distinct impression they had forgotten about it. No wonder there is a lack of interest.

This sounds similar to the Neteller freeroll where you have to register a NEW account to be able to play, if you are already a member they will not let you play. They would not let me enter the neteller game even though I made my first deposit as I already had an account.

I didn't register a new account just used the 'bonus code' and I think without making an additional deposit (already money in there).

im confused on the dates how can you register on 2nd of may for a game thats on 27th of April?????

Edit: i see now looking at wrong line so only the may 2nd game left then?
which puts you through to may 4th final

I regged this afternoon using that code for tomorrow night. As was with the VC hatrick, it hasn't appeared yet but was accepted.

Played this tonight - only 10 in including three discons, one of which was Philossify.

Phil outlasted me as I went out in 9th !

A real missed opportunity and I try again next week.
