EuroKings 2008 - RedKings Football League of Poker
As the titans of European football battle it out on the pitch, the real EuroKings will come from the Poker table!
RedKings is proud to introduce its very own EuroKings 2008 tournament - complete with freerolls, added money buy-ins and the ultimate in team competition.
16 teams, 6 tournaments, 10 amazing prizes and over 50 prizes including official RedKings merchandise and football souvenirs.

TOURNAMENTSCHEDULE
Opening Ceremony: 3 x $1000 Freerolls on the 27th, 28th of May and on the 1st of June!


TEAM COMPETITION:
The best team will be awarded with the honour of having the best poker playing fans in the Tournament and gain entry into an exclusive $1000 freeroll. This freeroll is only for participating members of the winning EuroKings team!


INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION:
We will be giving away amazing prizes to the top 50 players. The top 10 players in the League according to the final points will win prizes shown below. The players finishing between 11 and 50 will win official RedKings merchandise.

Rules:
Team Competition:
There are 16 teams, representing
Group 1: Czech Republic, Portugal, Turkey and Switzerland
Group 2: Poland, Austria, Germany and Croatia
Group 3: France, The Netherlands, Italy and Romania
Group 4: Russia, Spain, Greece and Sweden.

EuroKings 2008 consists of 3 group stage tournaments; quarterfinals; semifinals and a final.
In the goup stage tournaments the teams that gather the most points in each of the groups will get 3 points to the group table, the teams that
gather the second most points will get 2 points. The teams that gather the third most of points will get 1 point and the teams who finish 4th wont get any points. After the group stage tournaments, the points are calculated and
the top 2 teams of each group will go into the quarterfinals where they play
head to head against another qualified team.
Points for players that determine the group stage points:
In every tournament, top- 100 players get points in reverse order + bonus points for the top 5 players.
Example:
1. Player A 100 points + 5 bonus points = 105 points
2. Player B 99 points + 4 bonus points = 103 points
3. Player C 98 points + 3 bonus points = 101 points
4. Player D 97 points + 2 bonus points = 99 points
5. Player E 96 points + 1 bonus point = 97 points
..
...
99. Player XY 2 points = 2 points
100. Player XX 1 point = 1 point

In the quarterfinals, semifinals and the final, only the top 10 players will gather points to their team. The one who gathers the most points will advance to the next stage.
Individual Competition:
Every player represents their respective teams, but also themselves. The individual competition consists of ALL 6 TOURNAMENTS, so even if your team does not qualify after the group stages, you are still fighting in the individual competition for the TOP POINTS SCORER. The points are given the same way as in the team competition with the exception that the best player for each team in the group stage tournaments will get an additional 5 points for the individual competition

Thank you for your e-mail.

Once you have chosen a Team you are not able to change it. This is explained in the Terms and Conditions for the EuroKings League.

I am sorry but you will have to go with Netherlands.

Pretty sure they belong to Prime Poker (or vice versa.) Although I have accounts at both, so there don't seem to be any restrictions.

One question Gaf, I didnt read the rules until after I registered, lol, but it stipulates only top 10 scores count for the last 3 tourneys, but it doesn't say anything regarding that for the first 3.

Could be a worry if all scores are counted in the first 3 if there's '00s of people registered as the bigger countries, and only 50 PLers and a dozen Swiss registered as Switzerland?
