The second season of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour is nearing its climax, but there’s still time to make a name for yourself. We’ve got a main event package up for grabs for the final Leg, which is being held in Blackpool 13-16 November 2008. All you have to do is win this freeroll and you’ll get the chance to play against some of the UK’s top players for an estimated first prize of £100,000.
But that’s not all. We’ve also got runners-up prizes that give you a second shot at GUKPT glory. If you make the final table of our freeroll you’ll get a $109 GUKPT satellite ticket, which you can use at Blue Square Poker to try and qualify.
To make sure that only readers of PokerPlayer can win, the prizes are only available to residents of the UK and the Republic of Ireland – if anyone from outside these locations wins, the prizes go to the next player down.
How to enter

1. Go to www.bluesqpoker.com and download the software (existing account holders are also eligible)
2. Open a real money account (you don’t need to deposit any money to play in the freeroll)
3. Go to the tournament section, find the ‘PokerPlayer Freeroll’ on 16 October and register using the password found on p.20 of the October issue of PokerPlayer

Just made the final table im currently 2nd with 151000 come rail me guys

wish me luck

8 remaining now 3rd with 131000

out in 8th raise to 40k pre flop with AA bloke pushes with JJ he hits flush on turn to knock me out Arrrrrggggghhhhhhhh

I won a freeroll beginning of the year mate but decided to keep if for later in the year and have decided upon this one. Played there last year too and really enjoyed it, good atmosphere at the casino too.

The tournament had 43 runners with only 34 remaining at the end of the first break i have 2125 not much to brag about just gonna look for a double up in the second hour
