Doing ok in both. I've made a few calls I wasn't sure of, but I've been right most of the time. I think the table (on both, certainly on PS) may think I'm a bit of a donk, and while I couldn't argue, it will hopefully play into my hands later.....

Obviously I considered the possibility. I think McG will vouch for the fact that I thought about it. If the board hadn't had two clubs I think I'd have found it easier to fold ... but the possibility that he was semi-bluffing with a flush draw (plus maybe a straight draw, in which case I was possibly underdog but with easily the right pot odds) tipped it for me. If he had got that and had made one of his draws I think I'd be feeling better, somehow!

Anyway, enough of my problems. I see you're on 9440 at the second break. Keep it up!

OK. I'm at peace with myself. I've convinced myself that it was at the very most a minor mistake.

At the time it felt as though I'd just thrown away a place in the main event, but even if I'd won the hand there was obviously an awfully long way to go.

I still wish there had been a J, 10 or 9 on the turn or river, or a runner-runner pair, though!

Runner-runner KQ/QK would have been OK, too.

I'm out of Stars. Had AK, ended up all in against Queens and Nines. The A and K that came on the turn and river were no good, as a Q and 9 were on the flop.
