Played a £2 multi last night on Betfair, 400 of us. After three and a half hours I made the last table and was sat in 2nd place with 4 people left. The prize money was 1st £204, 2nd £140, 3rd £70, 4th £60.

Anyway the site crashed and by the time they'd fixed it, the tournament was over and I'd finished 3rd. In theory ANY of the four final players could've won, chips were split fairly equally at the time of the crash.

I think Betfair really need to sort out their server, this happens on a regular basis. I have emailed them to ask them what they propose to do to solve this and future issues.

Thats very unlucky that is Danny and very frustrating. Imagine what it would have been like in a higher stakes game.

....seems to happen irregularly but enough that it stinks. Absolutely dumb. No idea what they're playing at. Andrew Black is busy at the WSOP although someone should tell him....maybe he could have a word with the server folk.

never did get a response from Betfair.

If its a server problem (ie. affecting all players) could they not freeze the tournamnet until the servers back online and then continue from there.
