To take part in this tournament, all players need to do is earn 50 Player Points on the day the Billionth hand is dealt, and they will automatically be invited to enter this tournament, which will be held on the first Saturday after the Billionth Hand is played.

right its midnight and the hand count is 999,330,000, so there is 670,000 to go, sso do people think it wont hit the billionth hand till after midnight on friday, so the day to get the 50 points will be saturday or does anybody think it might hit before midnight, then friday will be the day to play?

Seems to have been 500k hands a day moreorless since we've been tracking it, however would expect it to speed up in the last few hours as people try to get on for it. I guess we need to keep an eye on it every few hours during Friday.

It's a "straight line average" - laddies is busier at 4pm in the afternoon than 4am in the morning, so timings will change with the natural ebb and flow of the day....

Not sure there will be that much of a pick up as we approach it - remember we only have to hit the day, not the exact hand....

50 Points arent that many - I'll probably get them today and tomorrow to be sure if it looks like any chance of it hitting today. Hitting 23:59 tonight would be perfect as it will give noone else (non PL) time to realise and get their raked hands in.....
