Ladbrokes WSOP Team League - The Punters Lounge

Following on from the hugely successful Poker Cruise League last year, you can now win a fantastic trip for you and your friends to the 2008 WSOP with Ladbrokespoker.com’s WSOP Team League!

From February 21st, you and your friends can compete in a team league that could lead to the poker trip of a lifetime. There will be a $14,000 WSOP package up for grabs for each member of the winning team along with an additional $14,000 package available to a “Lucky Loser”.
Who knows? It could be you landing yourself $10,000,000 at the 2008 wsop final table! Our Leagues have a great track record: Claes "niceandclean" Westerberg was in the winning team in the Poker Cruise League, and then he went and won the $2,500 Main Event on the ship itself, cashing for $123,625 !

In order to take part here’s what you have to do:
1) Put together a team of players who all have separate Ladbrokespoker.com accounts. A minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 4 players are permitted in each team.
2) Select a Captain and give your team a name.
3) Register your team.
4) Look out for the first WSOP Team tournament!

The Package
Each winning team member will receive:
10 Days Accommodation at the Rio Hotel and Casino
$2,500 expenses
$10,000 Main Event seat at the 2008 WSOP

"Lucky Loser”
All individual players in the teams that finish in the overall standings in places 2nd – 36th will play in an Invitational freeroll with the winner claiming a $14,000 package as described above. Note: Players will be allowed to register a team up until 12:00 GMT on Wednesday 5th March. This allows for teams to compete even if they have missed the first couple of weeks of the competition.

Phoned support and was told it might be mostly $20 freezeouts, maybe there will be some double points tourneys and they dont know which night or nights of the week it will be on.
The website will be updated soon tough.

I'm certainly up for it though

The points structure on this was really poor last time wasn't it?

21st February is a Thursday night, so I presume it's Thursdays.....
