Hoping to book mine tomorrow ..... just completed my verification with Everest so money should hopefully go through to Neteller now (mind you had to resubmit the withdrawal request as money went back into account) . Sounds interesting that BMI flight out of Manchester might investigate it. IP for me as well I think, though in the el cheapo bachelor apartments at the back .

Still buzzin' with the anticipation

It'll be good to have a grumpy old jock along to keep our feet rooted to the ground

Yeah, that's not a problem thanks.

Emailed support again today with my arrival info and said can now play either 1C or 1D. If not too jetlagged (and wasn't in oz) would probably favour 1C but either will be ok.

Whahey - all booked up.

Fly out of Heathrow (free parking at my bro's) on 1st July (which probably means I'll never see my luggage again ) and return on 15th July via Philadelphia. Will get to hotel about 10:30 pm probably. Staying in Imperial Place - booked for the first 7 nights and if I survive past then I'll extend it. If I don't then I'll probably get a hire car and drive around a bit. Cost of flight was £560, cost of hotel (for 7 nights) $460 inc tax (but it is the cheap rooms at the back). So assuming similar cost for another 7 nights that leaves me about $1000 spending money out of the expenses.

Still waiting on the $3000 to wend its way through the ether to my Neteller account.

Looking forward to meeting up with everyone and downing a few pints (preferably something better than Budweiser)

Corona with the lime please, been drinking it since my last visit.

Might take a couple of bottles of Bells over to sell to the locals( a dram so bad we dont even export it).

Corona with Lime is nice - especially at $1 per bottle when playing cheap poker.

I'm going to bring some malt with me - got a load of bells and teachers here but nobody wants to drink it when there's malt about.

I've set another thread up on Poker Live but if anyone who is playing in the main event would like some prices from VCBet let me know and I'll try and sort it out

Now I truly believe

Money has arrived in my Neteller account and I have withdrawn it to my bank account. Mind you noticed Neteller have put their withdrawal fees up to £5 - when you couple that to the fact that my account is in £ and they take a little bit for doing the conversion from $ to £ then I'm going to try and do everything using Debit card from now on.....

Nice one

My account is still locked despite having confirmation from IBS that it has been verified. Becoming rather a worry now that I have spent £1200 on travel and Acc.

Are their Support responding to tickets you raise with them? I can't get any response whatsover. I'd rather them say 'fcuk off' than say nothing.

Keep refreshing the screen for live support. I managed to get through to Celia who seems to have got the wheels moving because I've just received this email:

Dear ColUFC,

As a follow up of our conversation on Livechat, we would like to
confirm that you will be contacted in the next few days regarding the
$3500 package that you won on 11/06.

Your real money account will be credited with $2000. The rest will be
used to buy your seat for the WSOP event of your choice.

Congratulations and good luck!

Kind regards,
Customer Care Team

When I got the inital "your account had been locked until you scan your entire life history and send it to us " email then when I sent off scanned docs I did put in a little nice pleading .... "hey can you expedite it as I need the money to book flights etc." ... don't know if that worked .... you might try replying to the original note saying your doc was ok (as that has a ticket id and (I think) a problem specific email address attached) and say that your account is still locked can someone help.....

Good luck . Having got my dosh I think its more workload than intentional. At the moment I love Everest - mind you I'm a mercenary b'strd and would shag virtually anyone that gives me expenses money and entry to WSOP (mind you I'd be seriously worried about the mental/sexual health of anyone prepared to pay me for sexual favors!). It would be a real pain if you seriously did need the money in your account before you could book the tickets.

Got through to Celia(maybe she was off yesterday) and it's looking more promising now, at least my balance is showing under $3,000 for the time being!
