$10,000 Challenge

10 players…10 ways to qualify…$10,000 to be won.

Blue Square are pleased to announce a wonderful new online promotion for the new year giving our online players of varying aptitudes the opportunity to qualify for a $10,000 Live Single Table event to be held in early February at The Grosvenor Victoria Casino, London. By virtue of topping one of the 10 qualification routes players will be invited down for a night in London (expenses for travel and accommodation provided) to enjoy hospitality courtesy of Blue Square Poker and Grosvenor casinos and to then play in an exclusive dealer dealt tournament live at The Vic where $10,000 will be won!


Event Structure

10 players will be invited to take part in a one table tournament at the Vic with a prize pool of $10,000. This money will be split between the top 4 finishers as follows:

1st	$4,000
2nd	$3,000
3rd	$2,000
4th	$1,000

Qualification

So to cater for all player types we have compiled a diverse range of qualification routes to enable players of all stake levels and game types to have a chance of getting involved in the action.

Super Heavyweight Playoff.

If you’re one of Blue Squares biggest punchers then there is an exclusive playoff dedicated especially to you. All players that are in the superheavyweight VIP group are entitled to enter the designated tournament on Thursday 31st January at 8:30pm for absolutely free.

League Playoff

The Monthly poker league always offers great value and a community based atmosphere to all of our players and in January it gets even bigger and better still as we introduce our new GUKPT Poker League. The winner will win a seat into the GUKPT Champion of Champions tournament at the end of the year, their will be GUKPT ranking points for the top 9 and all those players who finish in the top 20 in January’s league will playoff for a seat in the $10k Challenge on February 3rd 8:30pm.

Hold 'em Cash Raked hands race

A straight shootout for all Hold 'em cash game players of $0.50 - $1 tables and upwards. The player that accumulates the most raked hands in the whole of January will automatically qualify for their seat on the $10k Challenge table. Those players who finish 2nd to 10th will have a second bite of the cherry as they join Omaha players in a special playoff tournament to win the final seat. The raked hands race applies to limit and no limit games, we will be updating the table regularly throughout the month so you’ll be able to see if you have opened up an early lead or are playing catch up.

Omaha Raked Hands Race

A straight shootout for all Omaha cash game players of $0.50 - $1 tables and upwards. The player that accumulates the most raked hands in the whole of January will automatically qualify for their seat on the $10k Challenge table. Those players who finish 2nd to 10th will have a second bite of the cherry as they join Holdem players in a special playoff tournament to win the final seat. The raked hands race applies to limit and no limit games, we will be updating the table regularly throughout the month so you’ll be able to see if you have opened up an early lead or are playing catch up.

Raked Hands Race Playoff

Players that finish in positions 2-10 in both the Omaha and Holdem hands race will then take part in a special (holdem) freeroll which will take place on Sunday 3rd February at 8:30pm where the winner will win what will be the last remaining position on our $10k challenge table.

Bubble Tournament

The bubble Freeroll is a perennial Blue Square promotion and in January we have decided to reward those players who enter by offering a $10k Challenge seat to the winner. Any player (un)fortunate enough to finish on the bubble in any tournament throughout the month can request to be entered into the tournament by sending an email to support@bluesqpoker.com with your nickname, tournament I.D and time/date by the 1st feb. The Bubble tournament will then take place on Sunday February 3rd.

Longest Heads up streak

If heads up is your game then you have a great opportunity of winning your seat if you can put together a long streak of wins over the course of January. The player who wins the most consecutive games (with a buy in of $5 and upwards) and sends in their claim by 31st January will win their seat at the $10k Challenge table. NB for any streak to count a player cannot play the same opponent on more than 3 occasions in that run (and any win is subject to rigorous checks by our poker team to prevent against collusion) Claims need to be sent to support@bluesqpoker.com.

Longest Single Table Tournament streak

The player who wins the most consecutive STT’s (with a buy in of $5 and upwards) during the course of January and claims this by sending an email to support@bluesqpoker.com by the 31st will win a seat to the $10k challenge table. (The seat will be awarded subject to collusion checks and decisions by Blue Sq poker final)

Monthly sponsored Player Points race

To ensure players get an opportunity to battle it out against one of these select few and as an extra incentive to aspire to be a sponsored player there is a seat available in the $10k challenge exclusively. Whoever acquires the most points during January of our sponsored players will book their seat at the Vic.

KO Points Freeroll

A freeroll offering our whole player base an opportunity to take their seat at the $10k challenge table. For just 1000 KO points you can buy in to play in this special freeroll on Thursday 31st January at 8:30pm.
