Hi all, i have to say that i think that Ireland will cover the -3 pts @even(bet365) against Wales tomorrow.
They have been slowly getting back to form after a very poor World Cup and a slow start against the French. It was a much improved team display in the second half, a good preformance against the Scots. With the addition of Paul o Connell in the pack and more importantly the lineout.O Gara is in outstanding form and i think they can lead the irish to a 4 to 5 pt victory.

Ireland -3 @ evens (bet365)

Bettingzone and Planet Rugby have it down as home wins. Getting nervous on my away picks at Croke & Murrayfield. Won't pile into the spreads as I planned to, not least because wind and rain favour Ire and Scot.

Scotland are a different team Calcutta Cup at Murrayfield.... is the mantra. Bugger that, they're still rubbish. Shipped ave 30 points a game this 6N.

2.5pts BUY England points @ 26

Not an easy weekend to find any value bets IMO.

Can make a good argument for both sides with the margins posted except maybe Scotland so that's where one bets going. France/Italy is a no bet match for me which leaves the big one at Croke.

Personally am siding with Ireland although not confidently. Gatland has a good record of getting a lot out of his players but Ireland are showing signs of coming into their stride, together with being at home and the feeling I have that Wales are overacheiving with the squad they have I risk a bet.

10pts England -9.5 @ 1.93 (Centrebet)
10pts Ireland HT/FT @ 2.40 (NZTab)

d'arcy, demsey and murphy all out, wouldnt exactly say O'driscol is firing on all cylinders, never really rated horgan. Id say man for man wales are the better side and im not completely sure where Irelands points come from (other than o'garas kickin), we survived italy and englands packs so i cant see irelands being a problem. I think wales are decent enough value to win today...

Wales 3 pts down at HT. Turning around into the wind with 14 men (initially).

However. Hook (and Parker) will be on after 10 mins and the Welsh backs will win this for Wales.

3pts SELL Ireland/Wales shirts @ 4

Put some money on France -19 at VC @ 2.00. France will be looking to revenge the defeat against England, and should get a big win here if they want to win the tournament. Italy did well in the first two matches, but did not impress against Wales. Don't think they'll have an easier task today

What a load of crap that was. My bet was a loser and in a loss now for the tourney

Only good news is Worcester beat Leicester after their win at Sale so happy days there

Having to watch Man U lose followed by that shit from England was too much for one day

Italy v Ireland

It's Italy. Pile on. They'll boss the Scots in Rome and score 3 tries.

5pts BUY Italy shirts @ 3

England v Ireland

Haven't got a clue.

Wales v France.

Wales for me. The way in might be this:

10pts Fra/Wal HT/FT @ 13-2

Wales 6N '08 have scored 73% of their points in the second half.

Italy vs Scotland

At even money I fancy Scotland to take this so am going to have a punt off scratch. Italy have looked impressive in snatches but they don't rack up points and I think they'll concede enough penalties for Patterson to put the match away.

Wales vs France

I think France are fielding their strongest side of the six nations thus far, and at odds against I'm going to back them off scratch. I'm in a win win situation if Wales lose I'm quids in if they win I can celebrate the Grand Slam.

I also like Italy at home and was looking at Fra/Fra & Fra/Wales HT/FT as well. Decided to leave the Wales game alone myself but best of luck with it.

Ordinary 6N this year on both the playing and betting front for me.

Last bets of the campaign:

10pts Italy HT/FT @ 2.60 (NZTab)
10ptys England HT/FT @ 1.90 (NZTab)
