dollar Rugby Union - All Backs Vs Ireland

Played on Saturday night (Saturday morning in Europe)

All Blacks 1.13
Draw 43
Ireland 7.8

To the best of my recollection Ireland have never beaten the All Blacks, home or away.

Most bookies have set the line at around 15.5pts, as I said else where I think this is the weakest ABs team in a decade, they have lost too many players to Europen clubs.

The class is still there and I expect a home win, but I like this Ireland team, in particular the forward pack, that appears to have been lifted en masse from the excellent Munster squad.

Ireland + 15.5pts @ 1.9 is my bet here

hey mate, is it simply a friendly game? because if it is i agree with your pick, in this kind of games the "weaker" teams usually put a lot of heart in trying to beat the most famous one

Yeah, it's a friendly game.

Worth adding the weather forecast for tomorrow is crappy, rain and high winds from the south in Wellington.

Expect a low scoring ugly game

Exactly as expected, 21-11 to the All Blacks.

If you want to get a true picture of the weakness of this AB team, watch the Aussies hammer Ireland by 30 pts next week

Nice work AJ getting the Irish home in the dreadful conditions on the weekend.

Whilst I don't think this AB's team look that good on paper, I think their performance in the wet was good.

The conditions suited the Irish pack much more yet the AB pack dominated them in every facet of the game, while the AB backline also showed cohesion despite the restrictive conditions.
