Arrow Rugby League: Challenge Cup - Fifth Round

Hello folks,

A break from Super League this week and time for some Challenge Cup actions. Below are the handicaps....

Salford v Huddersfield (-10/12pts)
St Helens v Rochdale (+54/58pts)
Leeds v Wigan (+8pts)
Wakefield v Bradford (+12/14pts)
Oldham v Harlequins RL (+42/46pts)
Warrington v Barrow Raiders (-44/48pts)
Whitehaven v Catalans (-18pts/20)
Hull v Sheffield (+48/50pts)

I have read that Wakefield could be playing their kids. Team news is key in these fixtures.....

I'm off to Germany tomorrow afternoon, will try to post my thoughts beforehand.

All thoughts welcome

I'm on the Giants and Bulls to both cover the spread.

I'm liking the look of Bradford -6pts v Trinity 10/11@Totesport
I'm also going to back with small stakes Whitehaven +20 v Catalans 10/11@ Several bookies; I don't think the French will relish a trip to the Recreation Ground !

I don't either MaKri but apparantly Cats are travelling today, booked in the top hotel in the area and booked local training pitches. They'll see this as a brilliant way to getting a step closer Wembley. Stacey Jones should run rings around them. Good luck with your bet and welcome to the Rugby League threads

I think the Saints full game is more solid as Rochdale will definitely tire in the last 20min of the game and that is where the Saints should really run riot. Taking the 1st half line is pure guesswork

Wigan +8.5 over Rhinos

My bet for Friday game, Barrett is in sublime form at the moment and should be able to keep this close

apparently showers forecast for late in the game ... Saints rattled up 40+ against their last Nat 1 opponent I hear ...

You can't compare those games with this one - two separate altogether

Yes I have heard their will be showers - meaning soggy ground = more tired legs at the back end of the game for Rochdale.

^ but if there's a lesser quality team than Rochdale in National 1 it's a very near thing !

Well done chaps! Nice to see some new faces!

I was walking through Berlin and to my amazement noticed the one and only Stan James betting shop in Germany. Like proper tourists we got our camaras out and went a bit trigger happy.

I walked in and in broken German/English asked for the Rugby League results! Didnt have a bet over the weekend although did fancy the Giants to cover over the City Reds. Salford have bigger fish to fry as in their Super League survival.

Berlin, by the way....is an amazing place (unglaublich)! 9/10
