Many sites making comment to this being an extremely difficult round to pick... Not sure what they are on about as there seems to be a few stand out selections. Finish my research and post again soon. Leave you with one stand out and that is Titans win at halftime! Back shortly with more. ![]() Last edited by Bet Ad; 05-06-2008 at 10:09.

DRAGONS VS BABY BRONCOS This game you will look at, and at first glance you would have to say dragons dragons dragons. I do think saints will win but i think it may be by a margin of no more than 12. The dragons have turned there season around with some good wins vs MELBOURNE, MANLY, SOUTHS. The win vs melbourne looks on paper a good one but i think we all no the storm were minus there origin stars so i wouldnt look to much into that one, however the win at brookie was there best win this season with a improved effort on the defensive end. The only thing that worries me here is the centre pairings of morris and stanley, in that win at brookie stanley made many defensive mistakes and one of them nearly cost saints the game so i think brisbane could take advantage of this. The broncos forward pack still looksimpressive with some big name players still there in CARROL, SIMS, PAKER, CLINTON, TAYLOR so i think this game will be a closer one than the bookies think. MY TIP: DRAGONS TO WELCOME BACK WENDELL WITH A WIN BY 1-12 @ 3.10

ROUND 13 MATCHES WRAP UP: Fri - Warriors V South Sydney Souths have sent packing 3 players and promoted a few from their Toyota cup side. They also have a few players from NZ who may enjoy being back there. As for Warriors they are without Price and Tate. The do welcome back Wiki. For mine the Warriors are a different team at home and with their size should dominate the smaller inexperienced Souths pack. Best Bets - Warriors h2h @ 1.24, War win at halftime @1.50 Fri - St George Ill V Brisbane Broncos are missing several key players due to Origin and saints only missing two this time around. Dragons at home will want to impress new 09 head coach Bennett with a strong showing. Broncos last time when Origin players out only managed to score 6 points... Dragons have 4th best defense in comp. Taking that into consideration you must be on the SAINTS. Best Bets - Saints h2h @1.30, Saints to cover halftime h.cap of 4.5 @ 1.91, Saints win at halftime @ 1.55 Sat - Bulldogs V Knights Bulldogs are still without several players, but not quite as bad as last week. Knights without three chief players, Bud, Gid and Simp. In saying that i would stay well clear of this game in betting. To many unknows for my liking. Best Bets - Put you money towards beer instead of this game... Sat - Parra V Canb Parra are without Hayne and thats it. Canb may loose Monaghan if Gasnier is not fit for Origin. Canb are different team away from home and struggle. Parra have given Grothe the flick this week and promote a top junior. Parra are dead serious about getting back into winning list and strong effort last week. Parra will win and will always have game in control. Best Bets - Parra h2h @ 1.30, and possibly a 13+ win??? Sat - Wests V Nth Qld Wests at home are strong and picking up confidence and momentum. They havejust lost Bryce Gibbs however. Nth Qld are lacking much firepower without Thurston and rest of players. Wests will be praying for a dry track as that is when Benji and Farrah shine. I expect Wests to have too much class and will get through this one. Best Bets - Wests h2h @1.16, Wests htime/fulltime @ 1.33 Sun - Pen V Cron Pen without Civon#$^*%a, Cron without Bird, Gallen and Kearney. Cron found some form, Pen found some form. At full strength i would say Cron wins, however they are not. I would rather bet on two flys on a wall then this game... Best Bet - Two flys on a wall - Dont touch it Sun - Manly V Roosters I think there is some value here. Manly without Stewart at fullback and dont forget Cuthbertson also. Roosters without Mason, Fitzgibbon (goalkicker...) Tupou, Roberts and Myles. At full strength this would have been a cracker! but its not so Manly WIN. Manly at Brookie, in form meet a depleted Roosters who are missing their forward pack who gives the backs the space to play well. Best Bets - Man h2h @ 1.14, Man cover 2pts at h.time @ 1.91, Man cover 4pts @ 1.91 Mon - Titans V Storm Another game that would have been a cracker at full strength at Skilled. However its not, Titans win this by PLENTY! Titans miss Lafranchi and Harrison. However you can bet on Prince, Friend, Campbell and Bailey all having blinders. Storm only put on 12 pts last time Origin players were outand that was against the Dragons when they had not been winning and were down. Best Bets - Titans h2h @1.14, Titans win h.time @ 1.36, Titans 13+ @ 1.63 Use these tips as guide only, throw some of them in a multi to increase total bet odds and you are sure to have loads of drinking money come Tuesday. Its all about the drinking money... ![]()

Thanks Kevshat, good to have found like minded supporters... Rleague_Punter - I think thats a big call saying Penrith are a good bet... I dont disagree i think they will win, but not with confidence im sorry. To your earlier point the wet weather will mean less points and that will play in to Cronulla's favour. I too think Titans, Eels are good bets, along with Manly if looking for the best value bet. On a side note i watched the Toyota cup game last week between Dragons and Souths. Whilst the game was won by Dragons in the last minute of the game, souths were arguably the better team and look out for a kid called Chris Sandow (coming 1st in Dally M for Toyaota Cup) who carved the Dragons (n.o 1 in Toyota Cup) team UP!!! He has been promoted off the back of that game to 1st grade to play warriors. He will be a handfull if plays at full ability, only thing is he is very small and may get run over pluss lacks NRL level direction. Last edited by Bet Ad; 06-06-2008 at 00:31.

Some nice analysis there guys! Parramatta looked back to their attacking best last week vs the Broncos, and are a lot more dangerous team with Inu on the end of their backline. Canberra toil hard and are an honest team but I can't see them beating Parramatta. Parramatta to cover 10 at $1.91 Manly had their pants pulled down in their last match at Brookie when they went down to an average Dragons outfit. The Roosters were solid on Monday night without being spectacular, but I can't see their attacking kicking game upsetting the Eagles. There wont be alot in this game, however Manly should have the edge and will be hurting from their last loss. Manly to cover 4 at $1.91

Hi guys, feels like a good weekend coming on... to PL Bet Ad, love your analysis...I think Prince will still take his place in the Titans line-up this weekend, apparntly he was covering for Thurston who had an injury scare, but looks like he will play in Origin 2. Article link- http://news.smh.com.au/sport/prince-...0606-2mll.html Dragons v Broncos Dragons have quite a good record v the Broncos at Lang Park, having won 4/5. The game they lost was by 2 points. Cooper and Gasnier are big losses for the Dragons, but as usual the Broncos have been hit with absences around origin time, 8 missing tonight including Hodges. I think the Dell returning to first grade football will add that extra bit of inspiration to the Dragons, who will come out victors. Hard to guage whether it will be a blowout win or not for the Dragons, but I am confident that they can win, and am therefore going to take the shorts about them. Dragons @1.33 (sportingbet) Warriors v Souths *** Early kickoff for this one - 6pm AEST*** We saw the impact Steve Price has on the Warriors last week when they defeated the Knights away from home. He is absent this week with the QLD origin team, but that really shouldn't make any difference to the result. The poor old Rabbitohs have had a terrible season to date, and while the Warriors have been extremely dodgy when playing away, they have been solid at home. The Warriors are aiming for 13 straight against the Bunnies, and I believe that they will do it easy. Warriors 13+ @ 2.10 for me. Good Luck guys... ![]()

Bulldogs vs Knights is the hardest game for me to pick... Panthers vs Sharks is also difficult. For my tipping i've gone with all the home teams. 3 bets for tonight (dragons vs broncos): Wendell Sailor to score a try Over 38 points St George / St George

Brad89 i think you are right on the money! I too feel the Dell will score atleast 1 try tonight. I really think there is some value in halftime betting this round with the Titans and Dragons. Coolcricket - I can understand your uncertanity around blow out or not for Dragons, they have been the most uncertain team for 3-4 years now... One thing to note is that from the 11 games so far this year Dragons have won 4 by 13+ and lost 6 by 1-12, so if you think they will win odds say it will be convincing. On another statistical note - Roosters, Manly, Goldcoast, Brisbane are the best 4 teams (in that order) for winning at halftime in their matches this year. The worst are Souths, Warriors, Canberra (in that order). Taking that into consideration and with Roosters and Brisbane feeling the pinch of origin player drain that leaves Goldcoast and Manly as good choices to be winning at halftime, also as Canberra are one of the worst things look good for an eels halftime win also - should make you some drinkin money i feel.

New Zealand win by 19+ margin Warriors back at home after a very good win at Newcastle. Have got very good home form and even though Price is out, Wiki comes in to replace him. Souths have dropped three players and are a shambles on the field as well as off it. Hard to see them containing the Warriors forwards with such an inexperienced line up. Also, the Warriors have won the past 12 matches against South Sydney, and of the eight games at Mt Smart Stadium the Warriors have won six. St George win by 13+ margin Brisbane are missing 6 players due to Origin but where they really feel is in the backline. Very inexperienced there and even though Gasnier and Cooper are mssing fort the Dragons, there is enough talent there to cause the brosncos backline some headaches. Up front it should be a good contest but the Dragons if they are smart will spread the ball to test the Broncos out wide. Usually they play well in Wollongong and with the Dragons having a very good over all record with Brisbane having won the past five games in a row, they should win comfortably here

I hope i am! I'll probably put a number of bets on titans, with or without Prince. Just be careful of betting heavily against the roosters. Saying that, i have tipped Manly. I'm expecting this game to be fairly close...

West win by 30+ Wests have a near full strength line up for this game while the Cowboys are severely depleted without Thurston, Bowen and a host of other players. Farah has been in very good form and he is starting to get this team going once again as they were a bit unlucky against the Roosters last week. The Tigers have won six out of the past eight matches between the two sides. This should be a slaughter Parramatta win by 13+ margin Parramatta played well last week and were unlucky to lose to the Broncos in the last play of the 80 minutes. Back at home they should be ready to make light work of a Canberra side who are struggling to get things going. Canberra are quite soft up the middle so look to Parra making some easy yards there from dummy half. Parra are pretty strong at home while Canberra are poor away from home so look to Parra to win here quite well, especially as they have won two of the past three and at Parramatta Stadium they hold an 11-6 advantage.

| Not a big fan of tonight's games, think Dragons will win but I don't see much value around. Going to stick to MOTM bets and have gone for Ryles again. Broncos still have strong forwards which will keep the game a battle in the middle and I believe Ryles' quality will shine out. Jason Ryles MOTM @ 17

Broke even. Put more on HT/FT and less on Sailor to even the return out. Total points 38, so that was refunded... Sailor was injured and didn't play in the second half, so that screwed that bet up. Better than a loss i guess
