| For those Aussies out there the TAB has the new fav Hamilton still @ 3.5 to win (Obviously nobody told them that practice laps were being held a day early)... I am already on him at that price prior to practice however I may dabble a little more in this price... he seems a top chance at pole position with his best lap beating last years best qualifying lap by 0.300... the Ferrari's were about 0.500 behind him and after struggling to burst out of the shadow of F. Alonso it looks alot like this could be Hamilton's race to be taken... ... also taking Mark Webber E/w @ 66 (1/5)... He has a pretty good record in Monaco and with all sorts of possibilities for this race he could easily enough sneak his way to the podium (or earn it for that matter)... either way thats what i have gone with.... ![]() |

| Looks like rain this weekend which could be madness. Well, either madness or a race behind the safety car which would be awful. If it's dry, you have to fancy Hamilton. The McLaren is on it here and he looks extremely good. Wait till the start of qualifying then if it's dry back him for pole. Others that could over-perform are likely to be Rosberg who looked excellent in practice and has been taking up his chances of a podium . Webber who is awesome around here and Alonso in the improving Renault who should be able to mix it with the big boys. With that in mind, I think there's a decent chance of no Ferrari on the podium ![]() and laying Kimi and Massa individually for podiums could bring rewards.Anyway, there seems to be very little point in betting before the sessions as a bit of rain and no traction control is a disaster waiting to happen.
