Hi

I write here my today pick.

Italy Championship 17/11

Four match this evening:

HCJ Milano Vipers - SG Cortina
HC Bolzano - AS Renon
HC Alleghe - SG Pontebba
HC Val Pusteria Wolves - Asiago Hockey AS

HC Bolzano vs AS Renon

Big derby at the Palaonda (hockey arena in Bolzano).
Renon without 2 key players (Tony Tuzzolino and Kaspars Astashenko), and another key player (Markus Hafner) is doubtful (70% out).
Renon is in bad shape (home defeat against Alleghe in last match) and the home win is a good choice in this derby.
The odds are right and i back (medium stake) the home win.

HC Bolzano ml @ 1.98 (Pinnacle)

sorry for my english

Bye

Switzerland:

Zug - Lugano
(1:a @ 1.909 Sportingbet)

The home team right now in fourth place with 38 pts much due to some good play at home where they have 20 pts in 10 games but the comparison isn't really fair since some of the teams have played 11-12 games. Even so Zug is one of the stronger teams at home in a league where home advantage is a big factor. In ten games there have been 6 wins, 2 losses and another 2 losses in OT. Lately Zugs form has been great with 19 pts in the last 10 games and they have done so against some great teams as well. When looking at the last 10 rounds only one team is better, namely Bern who have been superb. Wins over Fribourg away, Zurich at home and to Servette away is impressive to me. Losing away to Bern is no shame though.

Italian team Lugano have 20 pts in their last 10 games which is not so bad but the stats away are worse with only 7 pts in 10 games (1-3-6). When it comes to form they have only 2 wins in the last 8 games, one at home against bottom of the table team Ambri Piotta and to the top team Davos. The win over Davos is a good effort but the other games are not impressive at all. Both wins were at home might I add. Losses away to Fribourg, kloten and Langnau (9-3) are telling me that it will be a hard task beating Zug away.

The teams have faced two times this season. Zug won away 5-4 after OT and 2-0 at home.

The two teams have different form and while Zug are relatively strong at home Lugano are finding it very hard to win in away games. H2H is also strong and I'm going for the home win here.

Halav: Great Pick!

Bamse: Hockey just aint logical sometimes...

Found two good bets(I think) in Austria/Slovenia

Jesenice dnb 1.71@Pinnacle or straight win 2.00@Bwin, expekt, unibet...
Slovenian derby between 2nd placed Jesenice and 9th placed Olimpija. The home team is really struggling. 7 straight losses now. Nothing seems to be working for this team who most people thought would end up somewhere in the the upper half of the table. With Jesenice it's a whole different story. They have the best form in the league with 8 wins out of their last 10 games. They are also the 2nd best away team in the league. Everything points towards an awaywin imo. 1.71 for dnb is very good.

Vienna Capitals dnb 2.21@Pinnacle
Expected top team Salzburg hasn't had a good run so far. Simular to Salzburgs football team they have a lot of good players but as a team it hasn't been working. They are at 5th place atm. Vienna has been extremly good so far. They are at 1st place and also have the best away record. Their form is solid. 4 wins in last 5. To be honest I don't know why their odds is so high. I think the bookies are overrating Salzburg who hasn't shown much yet. Vienna only has 2 losses in regular time and I don't think they'll get a third here. I'm not even sure if I see Salzburg as the favourite in this one. Big value in this price!

As for allsvenskan I don't see anything interesting right now

can you tell me what does dnb mean?is it win at any time(after ot or pen)?
i suggest you don't put a lot of money in the game olimpija - jesenice, because this is great slovenian derby and players of both teams really want to win this game and there are a lot of tension in this games between the two. it's true that at the moment jesenice are better team. but in last two games olimpija were without their coach (he resigned because of bad results) and in these two matches their coach was bojan zajc (ex olimpija player, he still plays for b team, over 40 years old) and he made some not that good choices in that games so olimpija were easily beaten. today olimpija will have their new coach available for the first time and his name is mike posma. we will see if shock therapy of changing the coach will work.
i will go see the match and i will bet small stake on jesenice, but in these games nothing is sure and momentarily form doesn't count that much.

anyway gl

Bern-Ambri Piota
Bern -2 1.83 Bet365
Last year Bern was a fantasic home team, this year they've started Ok with 6-3-2, instead they played better hockey on the road 8-1-1.
Ambri Piota is a team who always manage to stay in the highest division beacuse of their play AT HOME. for the last couple of season 90% of their points they have taken at home.
H2H bern has won 5 of their last 5 games.
Ambri's last 3 games on the road was against opponents with far less class than Bern and they lost with more than 3 goals in all of them.
Today Bern will show their class at home and -2 seems like a hcp that is more than possible to manage...

Esbjerg - SönderjyskE over 5.5 goals @ 1.74 Pinnacle
I backed over this Firday when Sönderjyske met Nordsjaelland at home, worked very well, result 4-5. Sönderjuske have now scored 64 and allowed 51 in 16 games, making their goal average a stunning 7.19. Sönderjyske are not that goalhappy away. 3/5 of their latest ended over, and the way they both score and allow should be enough vs Esbjerg, who have plaeyde three straight over, also their last three homematches went over. Esbjerg's defence have been shaky lately: 4-5 vs Totempo away, before that 3-4 vs Herning and 1-6 vs Rödovre at home, if Sönderjyske play their normal attacking game they will no doubt score at least four goals in this match, over very likely.

Lillehammer -1.5 @ 1.86
Pinnacle
Lillehammer have really picked up form, they are not to be considered a weak team atm, their latest home match was a 6-4 win vs Storhamar, last match a 5-4 win away vs Furuset. Trondheim have 5/5, 0-6 at home vs Vålerenga last match. Lillehammer have performed really well at home this season, 3-1-3, met Trondheim away twice already: 4-5 in the first match, 5-3 in the 2nd. Lillehammer imo and according to their position in the table a team that's not really comparaple to last season, they have improved quite a lot while Trondheim still struglle and will have to qualify to stay in Eliteserien. I predict a homewin with more than one goal, good value in this odds.

Stavanger @ 1.95 Expekt
Stjernen in the middle of a bad streak, lost 4/5, one after o.t. latest, 0-3 vs Comet at home latest match. Stjernen placed 9th, only Trondheim behind them, homerecord 3-2-4. Stavanger started the season poor, lots of injuries the main reason, they are getting better and better, imo Stavanger's a team that have a roster good enough for top 4. Last five : 2-2-1, one win and one loss after o.t. Latest match 1-2 at home vs 2nd placed Sparta. Stavanger a better team with better form, I find 1.95 very much worth trying.

Oskarshamn- Västerås
Västerås -0.5 1.90
Västerås is according to me up their with malmö and leksand when it comes to POTENTIAL. Västerås problem is their inconsistency, one day they can trash malmö and the next loose against any other average team in the leauge. The only reason why you get this odds is beacuse of Västerås away form. But from what I've read they've played really good away and should have had more points than they do.No problems with injurys in any of the two teams,Patrik Nilson och Rikard Ekström is back for västerås.
Oskarshamn is a big and strong team who doesnt fancy to play against a team like västerås with speed creativity and fantasy.
A result like 1-4 or 2-5 looks really likely according to me.
Good luck

You can create your own dnb Cantona. Put something on win, and put a little on the draw as well

I know that it's a hot Derby, but I just can't overlook the fact that Olimpija has 7 straight losses. Ofc a new coach might have an impact but I still think 1.71 was great value. It's down to 1.61 now and that's nothing I would touch.

Robert Kritan have problems with his back, so today Jesenice will play with 2dn goalie.

EventWolfsburg - Mannheim
SelectionMannheim to win
Strength10/10
Date18/11/2007
Bookmaker/PriceExpekt @ 1.95 (Back)
ReasoningMannheim with a good winning streak!Slowly they show what they can with this players!Normaly they have to be at the first two place in Germany!Wolfsburg lost on Friday in my hometown Cologne and they were really poor.Wolfsburg has also some injury problems and i can´t see them playing good tonight at home against the German cup winner. So i will take it with high stakes.

SportIce Hockey
EventEV Landsberg - Schwenniger Wild Wings
SelectionSchwenninger Wild Wings
Strength6/10
Date18/11/2007
Bookmaker/PriceBetandWin @ 2.35 (Back)
ReasoningThis is the match between 2nd and 4th in Germanys League 2. Both teams won last friday the matches.Schwenningen won at home 5:2 against Essen and Landsberg won 7:1 at the least in table Ravensburg. But they have financial problems and thats why i think it is a good value to bet on Schwenningen tonight. They have a good winning streak and the players can play just ice-hockey no like the players in Landsberg who think about the future. For me it is a good punt on Schwenningen.Landsberg will play also without regular first keeper Andreas Tanzer.I will take Schwenningen to win medium.
