Alba Volan - Innsbruck
Volan seems lost in the bottom with only 2 pts. in the "qualification" league. With only 1 win in the last 6, ironically this was away against Innsbruck, their form is not good. The last 2 have ended with a total of 0-6, losing against Ljubljana and Graz. Innsbruck on the other hand has picked up some form winning their last 3. Beating Graz twice and Ljubljana once shows that they are in shape. They are ranked 2nd in the qual-laegue fighting with Ljubljana for the top spot. If they want to keep it up this is a must win. Form-wise and h2h speaks for Innsbruck, 5-1-0 in their favour.

Vienna Capitals - Jesenice
The regular season runner-up Vienna has had a great start in the next level. With 16 pts. They are 5-2-0 the last 7, with some upsetting results against VSV and KAC they came up strong beating Salzburg 6-3 away in the last one. Their home form is impeccable, 6-0-0-1-1 which shows their intentions towards the end of the season. Jesenice is in bad shape. Only 6 pts. so far in round 2 they struggle hard. Only one victory the last 7 is their status, and that clearly shows the major difference between these teams. H2H is in favour of Capitals, 5-1-0, the last 6.

Pick: Innsbruck (1.65) & Capitals (1.55) 2.56 @betsson

tutto-sport first period 1 1,95 expekt

have to say that this odd is really high. tutto is in impressive for. they beat everybody with more than two margin. their home record is 16-0-1. in last 10 home games they had only one defeat and one draw.in first periods def was against kokkoo only. against others they had nice margin, 2-3 goals in first period.. sport is solid team, nothing special and their last defeat aganist heki is really poor result. this looks like a decent bet

Another double for me:

ERC Ingolstadt - Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg
The home team is in a heay fight to avoid being in the "relegation" group. Knowing that Augsburger Panther and Hamburg Freezers are close behind they need to capitalize especially in must-win matches like this. Their form is not the best, 3-3-0 the last 6, but they have faced tough teams like Adler Mannheim, Hannover Scorpions and Eisbären Berlin in the losses. Last match they won easy against weak-sided Straubing though. As many other teams playing at home being the "fortress" Ingolstadt has not been the best, but today a win is crucial. Wolfsburg are lost in the "relegation" zone floating alone with 16 pts. up to Augsburger and 5 pts. down to Straubing. Form-wise 2 out o the last 3 is won, but a totally out of form Frankfurt and Straubing should not be more than a flare in the horizon. The 2-6 loss to Kölner Haie last game tells more about the status in the team. Playing away have not been their strength at all so far, going 3-1-0-1-16 in total tells the most.

TuTo - Sport
The home team has been superb all season long and has not given signs of slowing things up either. 8 wins in a row, and many with seriously big numbers, they are really preparing to have a go on the top division next season. So far playing at their own rink only 1 loss in 17 games is registered, an impressive stat I don`t believe will change today. Sport on the other hand has played somewhat better lately going 4-3-0 the last 7. They are often involved in many close matches, but h2h against TuTo this season the goal difference is 18-4 in favour of TuTo, a stat which shows the difference between the teams tonight.

Pick: Ingolstadt (1.53) & TuTo (1.43) 2.19 @betsson

I do agree... Looking at TuTo effiency lately, scoring heeps of goals, this one I find highly interesting. 42 goals in the last 7 gives an avg. of 6 per game, and it is like you say they seem to take action right from the puck is dropped. Nice find this one fish...

Default Re: Euro hockey leagues 1/2

I will also have a go on some moneyliners in the czech league today sensing the battle for positions is at hand and the already cleared teams seems to slack of a bit:

Slavia Praha - Hc Litvinov
The home team being 2nd in the league and having a safe spot for the next phase they have slowed somewhat down. At home they have been great (16-1-0-1-4) and won the latest 2 against Znojmo and Pardubice. Two teams at the lowest end struggling hard at the moment. Before those they lost 3 in a row, all games facing major contenders for the top 10 spot, and more important two of those were at home. Litvinov has been great lately before losing against Plzen at home last match. A team which is in the same fight for positions as themselves. Before the loss they came out big with 7 wins in a row! Playing away has been their struggle, but of those 7, four came from visits. It must be mentioned that they did not face any top teams though, but still improvement is improvement. They fight to keep their momentarily 6th place at bay, with many teams chasing. Still there is no more than 3 pts. up to Karlovy Vary in 4th. The value is on Litvinov in this one...

Pick: Litvinov, ML 3.20 @betsson

Liberec - Znojmo
A game with similarities to my former post, but still there are some differences though. Liberec is placed in 3rd with 83 pts. at the moment whole Znojmo is 11th with 62 pts. No doubt there are differences between the teams looking at positions, but only 21 pts. in points do give a picture how tight the czech league is. Form-wise Liberec has really went "to sleep" after being a title contender for a while. The last 7 matches have produced a form of 2-6-0, a stat which confirm my initial thought. The last 4 have been lost and their normally strong homestand has taken a serious blow (12-2-0-2-3). Znojmo is in a must-win situation today. They trail the important 10th place with 4 pts. and every ponit from now on will be crucial for their further ambitions in the season. Lately their form has not been good with only 1 win the last 4, but to their defence the teams they have faced has not been the easy ones (Slavia, Plzen and an in-form Vitkovice). The value is on Znojmo, but with small stakes knowing about both team struggles lately.

Pick: Znojmo, ML 3.15 @betsson

VSV - Salzburg
VSV with a form of 1-6-0 the last 7 I cannot ignore this one tonight. They became the last team to get in the "top league" when the division was parted after the regular one recently. With an easier fixture than Innsbruck in the latest rounds they managed to get one point ahead and that was enough to make it. As I mentioned their form is terrible, but it is also needed to tell that only one loss has been at home. In their last one they beat Vienna 4-3, a strong result, but when being butchered by KAC the next, I only see a "luck" result in the win. Salzburg is an unstable lot. They win and lose as games goes by, but one trend I do see though is their strong performances away from home lately. Wins against Linz and Jesenice in the last 2 gives an impression of good attitude. One other point for me liking Salzburg is the h2h count. VSV has only beaten them twice in the last 16 match-ups between the teams. Looking at the table VSV is lost at the bottom with only 3 pts. with not much to fight for while Salzburg need a win to keep up the pace and not fall behind from the teams ahead of them. It is only 5 pts. up to leading Capitals while both KAC and Linz lies between them... I do believe Salzburg would take the points tonight.

Pick: Salzburg, Str. 2.36 @betsson

Vienna v Jesenice
Vienna -1.5 @ 2.10

Reasoning This one do looks pretty safe bet. Vienna in great form and with good chance of getting the best position infront of playoffs. Two points vs. Jesenice who completely lost the plot after new year, should offer just that. Odds on Paddy are very good compared to other books - as theyre the only one to go over the even mark. Imo not motivated Jesenice and motivated Vienna team along with form factor and home ice should bring this one home.

SC Rapperswil-Jona v. EHC Basel
over 6 @ 5dimes
@ 1.77
Reasoning This line looks to good with offered odds to be left alone. Basel the bottom team in league and they seem as they dont care anymore or better they dont have the necesarry quality to keep the pace with the rest of the league. Their defence is leaking and looking at this one purely statistical, in last 10 games Jona te best team in league while Basel with average of 5 conceeded cemented to the last spot. Looking at those games, Basel maged 8/10 overs while Jona just 4, but quality spread here just to high no to take this one. Also Pinny offer 1.95 on 6.5 line - could be also tried imo.

EHC Biel v HC Thurgau
EHC Biel -2.5 @ Bet365 @ 1.86

Reasoning Very good line imo for home team who looks in great shape atm, while visitors from Thurgau looks like they are already on vacations. In last game they were trashed with 0-8 vs CdF and are winless in last 6 games. Seems that loosing any hope for playoffs really did influence their motivation and Biel who are currently in 2nd place and are in great 5/6 streak should take easy two points. Btw, their h2h looks really promising for this bet: 8-4, 9-5 and 5-1 wins for Biel, last one coming on 4/1/08 ago on away ice.

Hello,

personally I won't go against Slavia today. They have more quality and their results goes up recently. They are top team of this league and traditionally strong at home. On the other hand Litvinov surely plays good games right now, but they have very bad H2H against Slavia and are generaly avarage at away, home win for me, but useless odds.
I've backed Zlin and recommend it, if you can still find odds over 2,0. For only 4/10, so bet far from banker, but there is no good atmesphere in Pardubice camp. Their chance for PO has practically gone, but there are not only bad results, but even bad performances. Captain Hlinka leaved club these days and it seems that there is low morale in Pardubice camp actually.
Good luck

Yes true what you have said about Tuto, have been fantastic. Seen it couple of time from tv also. Hope you can have something with the best team in Mestis. (Maybe some tight fights in spring with Kookoo when Kookoo team without injuries...)

Is there any Swiss knowing mates? I am thinking about Ambri 3.25 and Lugano 2.02 quite a good odds???

Just came home after a short work-out and actually getting quite shocked that TuTo lost 5-6!?! Annoying to know that they blew a 5-2 lead in 5 minutes in the 3rd... What the hell happened?

Pleased with your pick hitting though, fish. Followed it...
