Have also taken the Bulldogs 1-19 @ 3.85. Freo seem to keep it pretty competitive at Subiaco and with the exception of Richmond have kept the scoreline credible in defeat. Western Bulldogs have won handsomely this year but most of those at the Dome. They should still win this one but I can't see it being a blowout, so 1-19 looks sharp here.

Why are they putting a side on the Gold Coast?? They never have got a crowd out there. When I went to game there in the early nineties the AFL was telling me Carrara was on the (not that) well populated Gold Coast, but it's not. It's out in **** Creek with no public transport and you need a four wheel drive to get there. Launceston has easily been the best attended of those alternative locations.

An ego thing perhaps? They see the Titans having a great deal of success and decide that they need to get into the market before it's too late and at the same time try and increase AFL's profile in Queensland, which has sort of diminished with the Titan's inclusion and the drop off of success that the Lions have been having.

I really don't see what a Poker site has to do with Carrara, Spud!

Anyway, what sort of crowds are the Titans getting there? Do they play at Carrara?

No, they've got a new 'state of the art' stadium at Robina (Skilled Stadium I think it's called). Anyway, they've been getting crowds around 22k average, and I believe are undefeated at home, which is clearly helping things.

Good to see the Crows win so nicely today, has taken away the regret of not getting on Lions highest score (though it was a good bet regardless). Tit for Tat at Subiaco it seems - hopefully Freo can get to the break ahead...

Well, I was firstly looking forward to trying Bulldogs at odds against Cats & Hawks while all the hype was surrounding those two, only Dwayne Russell has now spoilt that by declaring the Bulldogs certainties for the flag.

Yeah, superb week Crouching Tiger, Hidden Spud.

He did Ash? Oh man...we were so close too...

...how much $ do you reckon Healy had on Freo? Was SO negative all day towards Dogs, decleared the game 'over' and 'impossible' for the Dogs early in the second even!!

I usually don't mind him, but between he and Jakovich (who is terrible at the best of times) found it pretty tough to watch.

Interesting to see both Aker and Eade say they knew Freo would fold...I was watching with my GF's sister who commented on how calm I was the whole game...basically because I knew the same thing. Said all day they'd want to be 5+ goals up (at least!) at 3/4 time.

18-4 I50's in the last...madness. A couple of pretty easy misses hurt my -9.5...but I did suggest 1.80 would just about be bet of the year...and then ignored it!

One respite was we didn't get any Brownlow votes business from the annoying Dwayne Russell. I don't recall a "There still alive! " from him either?
