Do You Want Irish Meetings Included In The DHRC? - The Punters Lounge

At the moment the rules state that Irish meetings can be included in your selections if all the UK meetings are off, although this has rarely happened it as been pointed out that it can be unfair on those having to post the night before or indeed early in the morning when it is not known of any abandonments.
As Irish meetings are now on ATR most days and the cards, form and results are widely available would you prefer to have them included in the DHRC.

Please let us know by voting in the poll.

Any changes will take place on November 1st 2006.

Any thoughts welcome.

Just for the record, I would like the Irish meetings included, not because i look at Irish racing but the last time all the UK meetings were off very few people were aware they could have selected Irish meetings and suffered as a result as also were those that had posted the night before.
With the winter coming i think we should take this possible problem out of play so to be fair to all who enter.

I do understand this is more work for the Admin guys and if they object then i'd support their argument as without those guys there would be no DHRC.

Well we have had only 18 voters and the others i gather dont have an opinion either way?
If thats the case the we shall leave the rules as they are and only include Irish meetings if and when all UK meetings have been abandoned for that particular day, unlucky on those posting the night before or those that have to leave for work early before any inspections have taken place, lets hope it doesnt cost anyone a cup final or a promotion place.
