Reasoning	Won 1m2f firm-ground Yarmouth handicap for Jamie Spencer. Reports are good for today's run and Norwegian takes a rise in the weights and will find it hard to win here. The only concern is, that it's the first run of the horse since August. But that also means the horse is fresh.

Reasoning	I'm a firm believer that you can't compare form from different aw tracks and course form is important at Wolverhampton. Out of the runners only 5 have won over course and distance. Out of them Gilded Cove stands out at the price as a real ew value bet. It's been 1st and 2nd here out of it's last 3 runs. Won off 62 rating, 2nd off 65 and goes off 65 tonight. Drawn 1 so can get out and to the corner in a decent position. 3rd highest topspeed rating, only 2 points inferior to the best rating in this race. Has previously won for this jockey. Solid ew chance.

Quite a competitive 11 runner handicap here, but made slightly easier with the withdrawl of both Vegas Boys and Carcinetto. Came Back now assumes strong favouritism and, followers of my thread will know that I backed it to win lto. However, I have to oppose today at the price and the 6lb hike in the weights. I am sweet though on Brett Doyle's mount, Hammer Of The Gods. Well berthed in 2, and tumbling down the handicap despite some very creditable and consistent performances in much better races than this. Back to optimum trip today of 6f, and races of its lowest mark for 2 year at this trip....a race, coincidentally, that it won. The price is a little skinny at around 11/2 but certain to go well.

I was going to post exact same thing Russ but my PC was playing up and I couldn't log in. I thought stall1 would be an advantage but it got trapped behind horses and had to run on late. Worth keeping an eye on if it runs here off a similar mark.
