Needs to find more on the ratings and bare form, but has only had three runs and now tries a visor which could do the trick. 8 runners and so we get a 3rd place, and with it looking a 3 horse race and the rest having plenty of doubts over them, I'm taking this fella to improve for the visor and hit a place at massive odds! trading around the 160 mark on Betfair and 20s upwards to place, so that to me would appear a bit of value with being unexposed and with a visor on. If trailing in well beaten then fine, but well worth the risk at these odds in a race where only 3 can be seriously considered.
I agree...

Event Wolves 3.20
Selection Tewkesbury (Each-Way)
Strength 2/10
Date 20/01/2008
Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 81.00 (Back)
Reasoning Meeting - Wolverhampton
Race - 3.20
Selection - Tewkesbury

we have 8 runners going to post and three places paying. Question marks over a lot of these means that a big price horse could do some damage here. Tewkesbury has 3 runs to its name and none over the same distance. It was stepped up to 1m 4f last time out and is now fitted with a visor, dropped in grade and there is still a chance that it may have come on from that first run and liely to improve. All eyes are on Qaasi, Mutjamead and Slavonic Lake. Qaasi steps up 2 extra furlongs, Mutjamead drops down 2 furlongs and Slavonic Lake has never run this distance. All potential dangers from a punting point of view. Im will to give Tewkesbury the chance to improve here at a massive each way price..

While huge on the exchanges, Bet365 have just gone 80's with minutes to spare to get this in to S.P so Im on that

2.20 HI SPEC E/W 16/1

Very poor looking race so i will take a chance with this ex Irish trained horse who is having his first run in Britain.Hasn't exactly set the word a light in Ireland but may improve a bit for new trainer who has Jockey Adam Kirby booked to ride i thought he would be riding for Swinburn in this race!

Interesting runner from Ireland who has run well on the beach at Laytown and wasn't entirely disgraced at Dundalk. Kirby's last 2 ride for this trainer have been 1 win and 1 2nd inc a win at Southwell last Monday, this might well be a Southwell horse but at the price Im willing to give it a chance on the poly. Decent draw.

22/1 3rd

1450

Regal Veil - running noteably lower in the weights than the other leading contenders, including Bold Diva who had the better of him recently. having had a break and now a short distance AW race under its belt, i fancy him...

Andastra - a cheeky EW bet this one, just got 20/1 with Ladbrokes. been tipped by a couple of tipsters and has experience of running at heavier weights, as well as recently dropping down in class. it all depends if it can get a flying start, it has history of staying on well if its in with a chance going into the final straight.

Nice little winner 2/1 Won easy enough in the end but not a great ride early on in the race from the young jockey good tipping Carl

Beech Games 3.50 Wolverhampton (EW)
I tipped up Beech Games the other night and it was flying at the end, got a bit trapped for room at one point and had looked well beaten until the end of the race. Was 6l behind Blue Eyed Eloise at Kempton 2 runs ago but this is a different track and although it often misses the break it may have something left in the tank to surge past beaten horses in the final 2f. Around 6-1 at the moment.

just watch the fooker fly in now

I like the look of the Ex-Stoute horse Oramas Ghost.
Onlyhas 5 starts to its name and Botti had a winner yesterday and a winner on Friday, interesting that Fairley( only ride today) is on instead of Kirsty
2nd @ 5/2

Although I did mention Chatshow the other as I tipped the winner saying that Chatshow could run well and it did when it got 2nd @ 14/1.

Might even dutch these 2.
4.50: Wolverhampton
1st 1 Obe Royal 12-1
2nd 3 Tag Team (IRE) 9-1
3rd Dead Heat
7 Perlachy 13-2
8 Chatshow 10-3
