Green Pirate 1.50 Wolve

Ive followed this since the PL meeting last June, not always backed it but one Ive kept an eye on

Consistant runner without winning and not much really to recommend given the form but the Brisbourne stable (80 wins from 780 runners in the last 5 years) have a knack of picking out races and this is Brisbournes's only runner today with Kirsty Miczarek on board (10 wins in the last 2 weeks 29%sr). I can see it placing at least.

1.50 ROYAL EMBRACE E/W 16/1

Is in good form and should be there abouts again today.

2.20 HI SPEC E/W 16/1

Very poor looking race so i will take a chance with this ex Irish trained horse who is having his first run in Britain.Hasn't exactly set the word a light in Ireland but may improve a bit for new trainer who has Jockey Adam Kirby booked to ride i thought he would be riding for Swinburn in this race!

Hi Spec 2.20 Wolve
Interesting runner from Ireland who has run well on the beach at Laytown and wasn't entirely disgraced at Dundalk. Kirby's last 2 ride for this trainer have been 1 win and 1 2nd inc a win at Southwell last Monday, this might well be a Southwell horse but at the price Im willing to give it a chance on the poly. Decent draw.

this race was doing my head in for nearly 1/2 an hour with question marks over most of these.

Regal Veil 2.50 Wolve
Regal Veil was 2½ lengths behind Bold Diva at Kempton 11 days ago, and Bold Diva has since won again at Southwell last Monday, but it was giving Tony Carroll's runner 8lbs that day. The revised weights give her an obvious chance of reversing the placings whilst it was also her first start since October so she's entitled to strip fitter for that. 5/1

1 fav has won the 2.50 in the last 10 years

Mujamead 3.20 Wolve

I think the drop in trip will suit, got 2nd LTO at Kempton when kicking for home 5 out but got robbed on the line. That was his first run on the Flat for 266 days and agin should strip fitter.

3.50 Wolve

Beech Games was given to me last year as 1 to follow but its been disapointing since and I cant believe its still a maiden after 17+ starts.
just watch the fooker fly in now

I like the look of the Ex-Stoute horse Oramas Ghost.
Onlyhas 5 starts to its name and Botti had a winner yesterday and a winner on Friday, interesting that Fairley( only ride today) is on instead of Kirsty

and 4.50 I agree with ATR about TAG TEAM, effectivly its running off the same mark as LTO when winning at Southwell over this trip.
Although I did mention Chatshow the other as I tipped the winner saying that Chatshow could run well and it did when it got 2nd @ 14/1.

Might even dutch these 2.

1.50 Wolverhampton
12 go to post for this 7f handicap, Class 6. Several in form contenders so tricky race to solve. However, many front runners meaning they could cut each others throats, whilst this course doesnt always suit those right at the back of the pack so I'm going EW on one that will tuck itself in behind the leaders:
Xpres Maite (10/1 Ladbrokes) - Raced just 3 days ago when race didn't suit but previous to that was a good 2nd in better race than this. Is down in class and running over probably its best trip today. Is well drawn in 2, and should sit off a fast pace and burst through off the home bend with a good jockey booking to boot. Could be a muddling race and I wouldnt be surprised to see big priced horses filling the places.

While I had a massive look at this especially with Quinn on board, Im just not convince in this race at that price. Kingsmaite is the same price and a much stronger bet for me.

Event Wolves 4.20
Selection Alfie Tupper
Strength 10/10
Date 20/01/2008
Bookmaker/Price Coral @ 3.75 (Back)
Reasoning Meeting - Wolverhampton
Race - 4.20
Selection - Alfie Tupper

Third race in a row for this one at wolves. Having won over C+D last month, it was then given an 11LB rise LTO and had to race on the wide outside for a run which completely killed off its chances. Its dropped 3LBS today and that could make the difference for it. Glenridding will be the likely favourite with Jim Crowley on board but I feel that it may not be in the form of Alfie Tupper and Boyle's stable. Last time the two ran head to head in September, glenridding was 6 1/2 lngts back.
