Default Wolverhampton - 19/9

Sorry for this one being late:

6.20 Champagne Fizz

The front 2 look difficult to oppose, but I feel Jo Crowlesy horse looks a tad overpriced. Champagne Fizz ran with great credit last time in a much better race last time out, and finished a creditable 3rd behind Midnight Cruiser the time before. obviously well thought of, and currently 16/1 on Betfair. I have a lot more reasons, but not enough time.

6.50 Beetuna @ 12/1

I really fancied this horse last time and he was flying home to good effect. I feel he is improving and the form he showed last season would be more than good enough to take this.

Comments from last time:

Quote:
This is a competitive heat, but it pays to follow Bryan Smart and Tom Eaves at this course and Beetuna fits the bill. He has run well in some better races, including a 2nd in a good Class 3 race last year. This is a big drop down in class to Class 6 and 25/1 looks too big.
A decent price again this time and should go close.

6:50

Miss Phoebe at 10/1

She is dropping back to 7f for the first time since a C&D victory last year. She hasn't been completely disgraced in many of her runs since then, but the mile and above might be a tad too far and returning to the polytrack will also suit.

Found it hard last couple of runs when stepping up into higher class, Dropping down to a class six tonight. Ran well over this trip and course back in April when finishing 2nd. Sophie Doyle on board claiming 5.

Capable of going well here and im not sure why such the big price, Maybe I should take that as a hint.

I'll have a go each way anyway, Its surely got to have a better chance then the 28/1 on offer.

28/1 Skybet

8:20 Seventh Cavalry

Odds on favourite in Girl of Pangaea but I think Seventh Cavalry is the one to be on here.

Seventh Cavalry has got to get his head in front soon, Never really runs a bad race and I know I say 'due a victory' alot but this horse is. Should handle the track ok and likes this trip of a mile.

Quinn booked to ride who has had some rides on outsiders at Newmarket today, This is his best ride of the day and im sure he will want to get this one infront. He normally does the business when giving the chance.

Yep, that's the one that takes my fancy too and for the same reasons, so I feel it would be pointless repeating you, lol.

Bit late, sorry. Took a bigger price but the 8/1 on Its A Dream is value. Poorish strike rate but Chris Catlin had the choice of other better treated rivals but choose this one. Drawn well, dropped in mark and back in Class 6 will go close. Get on EW.

Traded 1.14 in running for the win and wasn't even placed, 1.01 in place market, Did this fall over or just run out of steam? I have noticed it is a bit one paced in previous runs....Can someone shed some light as I didn't get to see the race??

Ran out of stream. Led from the off, 3L clear off the home turn and looked to be travelling well but as it came off the turn, was pushing hard. Field was strung out behind but 3 or 4 came at it. Still over 1L to the good a furlong out and was only headed 50 yds from the line. The front 3 were covered by a neck with this horse a further three-quarters of a length back.

Unlucky mate.
