Default Where were you the day PL went nuts --- Thursday 18th September

Well, where were you and boy did you miss something !

Well, well, well what a day for ATR as the forum went absolutely mad. It was a day where all the best tipsters came together and produced some astonishing results.

A bit of a case of where to start, but lets start with the Best Bet of the Day thread.

Best bet of the Day 18/9

The very 1st selection in this thread seemed to set the precedent for the rest of the day with Persian Seawinning well for Michael Jarvis and Phillip Robinson, and tipped by fintron @ 11/4. Spooner picked a non runner, and it is really saying something when that was pretty much the worst result in the thread .

Wizzkid Walter continued his successful start to the ATR forum when Allied Powers came home at Evens. Hoprock had Red Skipper (7/1) running a creditable 2nd behind Grit, which was tipped by Billythepunter in the Ayr thread. A PL forecast paying a dividend of £56.69 there !!

Trotter followed up when Major Magpie flew home with a late sail to deny Ezdeyaad at a cracking 7/1. That was his 2nd big priced winner in the last 2 days, so exceptional tipping Trotter . As a side note, Billythepunter tipped up Ezdeyaad in the meeting thread, giving another PL forecast of £46.72 !!

The winners just kept on flowing when mileni4uk showed he didn’t mind the flat too much when his selection That Look held on at a tasty 10/1. I had the running on 2nd Caffari at a huge price so thanks for that milen .

BillyHills hasn’t quite got into it at the tail end of the flat season, and he even managed to put the knockers on a 2/5 jolly. Hope you didn’t burn your fingers there mate.

I, stewartd14, had the last runner of the day when I selected a rag @ 33/1 as my best bet of the Day. As all good Ew shots do, this one finished a very unlucky 4th. Remember the name Onemoreandstay as she should find a race in the future.

As we came to the end of the day, kevsul stated in the thread he did EW multiples with the 1st 8 selections in the thread. This gave him a brilliant 4 winners at 10/1, Evens, 11/4 and 7/1 along with 4 placers to go along with them. Well done Kev and well done those that gave him the selections !!

So that was that for the Best Bet of the Day thread, an average day at the office I suppose.

Summary

Fintron …… Persian Sea ……. 1st @ 11/4
Wizzkid Walter …… Allied Powers …… 1st @ Evens
Hoprock ……… Red Skipper ……. 2nd @ 7/1
Trotter …….. Major Magpie ……. 1st @ 7/1
Mileni4uk …….. That Look …….. 1st @ 10/1

And only 4 losers to go with them. A level stakes profit of over 150 pts (to a 10 pt WIN stake)

Meeting threads to follow

So, with that success from the Best Bet’s. it would be quite something if it was at least equalled by the normal selections …… yep, you guessed it !

Lets head to Pontefract

Pontefract 18/9

Fintron was again 1st off the mark when his Best bet of the Day came in at 11/4 (Persian Sea). This was also tipped by billythepunter and stewartd14.

Billythepunter was just edged out by Trotters best bet Major Magpie, in the 3.30 but quickly made amends with Straight Sets finishing a decent 2nd @ 5/1. Add that to Persian Sea which he had already tipped, means a decent day for Billy at Ponte.

I picked 2 losers, so that was a case of normal service resumed after Persian Sea won earlier !

WoodyTHFC made sure his name was on the tip of everyone’s tongues as well when Duncanabsolutely hosed up at an early 6/4 advised. That horse looks one to follow.

Everyone was quick to praise those winners and that was really nice to see. We all put a lot of work into finding these winners and then writing them up, so these guys deserve the credit.

Summary

Fintron …… Persian Sea …… 1st @ 11/4
Billythepunter …… Persian Sea ….. 1st @ 5.2 (Advised)
Billythepunter …… Straight Sets ….. 2nd @ 5/1 (Advised)
WoodyTHFC …… Duncan …….. 1st @ 6/4 (Advised)
Stewartd14 ……. Persian Sea ……. 1st @ 7/2 (Advised)

As with the Best bet of the Day thread, only 4 losers and a profit of 79.5 points (To a 10 point WIN stake)

Ayr 18/9

Fintron, picked yet another winner in yet another thread when Allied Powers won @ Evens. Billythepunter couldn’t find the winner in the 3.20, but made amends when Grit came home at a very nice 7/1 in the 4.50. It was a case of Me v Billy in the 5.20 and believe it or not, I came out on top when Keys of Cyprus came home at 4/1 advised. AK1979 had the winner of the 1st in Kyllachy Star, who bolted up by 5 lengths at an advised price of 2.70. Fintron later confessed he had a double with Allied Powers and Persian Sea, so a big well done for that bumper payout.

Summary

Fintron ……. Allied Powers ….. 1st @ Evens
Billythepunter …… Grit ……. 1st @ 7/1
AK1979 ……. Kyllachy Star …….. 1st @ 2.7
Stewartd14 ……. Keys of Cyprus ……. 1st @ 4/1

So, 4 winners and 4 losers means a huge 97 points profit to a 10 pt Level WIN stake.

Yarmouth 18/9

Yarmouth lived up to its name as a tricky track today and many people steered clear. However, WoddyTHFC, mileni4uk and I were brave enough to give it a shot. I would have been better off trying to pick winners at Steepledowns, but mileni and Woody did the PL team proud.

Mileni4uk had the 1st winner when That Look came home at a whopping 10/1 !

WoodyTHFC alsomanaged to find the winning Cumani hotpot, Magaling, which I tried to lay !!

Well done guys, a quiet turn out in here, but even with just 2 winners, we still made a profit of67 points (to 10pt win stakes)

Just amazes me why people want to "buy" tips when it's all here for free.

Well done all.

I've just been for a delicious curry with my winnings for the day but having a night off studying the form now as the wines gone to my head!!

Seriously though, fantastic stuff today people. I know a hell of a lot of work goes into researching the content for those posts so well done. I just hope we don't have lurkers stealing the info and selling it on as their own material.

Lets hope theres more of the same tomorrow.

Congrats guys What a great day of profit

I have to admit to not being a huge horse racing fan, and it is difficult I know.

I hate bringing downers to anything But to bring things back down to earth, isnt the person ahead on the table less than £6 in profit for the entire August month??
If Im wrong feel free to shoot me down, Im just running on BillyHills tables (and hes a trustworthy guy).

Again I know BBOTD is a hard forum, probably the most difficult on the entire site, and weldone fellas, Im sure yous can keep it up.
I honestly for 1 don't believe for a second other even payable tipsters on the net can achieve that consistantly, honestly ,due to the knowledge of some PL membe
