2.50 - Mythical Charm EW
CD winner and has won both races with Matthew Henry on board, and he is on in this race. Wasn't the best LTO but is a class down from that here, and there was not a massive amount between the horses.
Was travelling well in a class 5 race 3 before this and was badly hampered. Has been too good for class 7, and has bits of form in this class. Will have to have a good run, but with the jock on board and a good draw here, also up ther ein speed ratings, has a good chance. Forecast 14/1.

14:00 Simpson Ross

This horse caught my eye not only because of the second name (my name is Ross if you did not know), but also because of the first name (great fan of Homer & co) !!!

OK so only hald true about the above

Nah seriously, this horse seems to be getting better with every race last year. Only a 4 yr old now but goes well fto. Best results to date have been after a 60 day + break so the 6 week break will be of no harm.

Very happy if all 8 runners make the post as this will make a free bet - just hoping he can chgallenge the odds on fav. OK so the fav should be well respected coming from the Stoute stable but not seen in public yet would make me want to TAKE HIM ON !!

GL all,

2.10 Wincanton

BETTING FORECAST: 11/4 Not For Diamonds, 5/1 Canopus, 11/2 Darkshape, 8/1 Another Burden, 9/1 Flying Forme, 12/1 Gotta Get On, 14/1 Wondersobright, 16/1 Cool Society, Massini Sunset, 20/1 Maximinus, Seemma, Storm Prince, 25/1 Dear Sir, 33/1 Hazelbury, 40/1 Dr Charlie, Montenda, 50/1 Celtic Major.

Big field here and not a bunch to be overly confident about but I'll take a chance with WONDERSOBRIGHT. Ran its best race this season when close 3rd lto after leading for a long way. The step up in trip seemed to suit this horse. On a decent mark still and has useful 5lb claimer on board. Could steal a lead again today and, although more challengers, could easily get placed. If it jumps better and more fluently, it would be no surprise to see this horse get its head in front. Dangers likely to come from 4yo CANOPUS ridden by AP, the Venetia Williams trained DARKSHAPE and ANOTHER BURDEN.
EW Selection: WONDERSOBRIGHT

1.30 Lingfield - Lake Hero
Off the track for over a year and a half but the booking of Jamie Spencer catches my eye. Don't ride to much for this stable and when he does he has a decent strike rate. Before his break Lake Hero was running in better company than this although being well beaten. Has a good draw today in 4 and would be interesting to see if there was money for this tomorrow.

310 Win Sporting Rebel (12/1)

Nicholls has an unraced odds on fav so we get great value elswhere in this race, the one i like is Victor Dartnell's Sporting Rebel, made late headway behind Benetwood and Korello Bay which is decent form, trainer has 2 in the race so betting may tell us which one to be on.

Kempsey (1.20 Kempton) RP f/c 14/1
Committed the cardinal sin of running a blinder from 11 lb out of the handicap in a decent race last Febuary and was raised 15lb in the handicap as a result. Has gradually slipped down the weights whilst hinting at retaining ability on occaisions, and now on a mark lower than before he was murdered by the handicapper. LTO was the subject of a significant gamble suggesting he may be ready to strike but ran a stinker, never able to go the pace (strange for a front running 5 furlong sprinter) and finished stone cold last. Interesting that he makes a quick re-appearance today and maybe losses are only lent !

YOUR MY SON 15:00 LINGFIELD

Invariably a keen sort who has been held up in a number of his races or like last time raced over a trip too far (10 furlongs). With the assistance of Richard Hughes and the first time blinkers, Iwould hope that Richard fires him out of the gate fior a front running winning performance. With the style of running of most of his competiters, he may get a soft lead in front.

A little E/W at around 10/1.

1.30 Ling : MISTRAL SKY , shud be competitive off a mark of 65 in this handicap. I expect this to be pressing the leaders lake hero and possibly quality street. Lake hero been off the track for quite a while, tho runnin in better company, IMO it will need a run. If Mistral is in the leadin 4 at 4 furlongs, i'd expect it to quicken and win this race. Current odds on Betfair 13. This is my E.W. bet of the day.

Teyaar 1.50 (e/w) 13.0 Blue Sq

Looks like a few have seen this. Comes head to head with Charlottebutterfly and Beverly Beau again after they finished 2,3,4 last time out here. Was running a little flat towards the end of that. Still only beaten by 2 1/2 lenghts into 4th by the pair.

xabi400, please check the Rules for the EW Fancies thread...

You need to post reasoning here, and duplicate the tip in the daily thread...
