230 Ludlow : Investment Wings

A very frustrating horse, fair to say not one the Pipe's leading lights, even the magician couldnt get him home when dropped to a seller last time. 15 runs now without looking like winning and despite this being a weaker race than last time i just have an idea something will come and do him over the last, quite like Wotchalike's chance anyway and Reg Hollinshead's horse has a shout too so i'll lay Investment Wings at what will be a poor value price as usual with the Pipe horses.

Billy I have to agree - the only horse that meets my criteria today.

2.30 Ludlow - Investment Wings (f/cast 3.5).

I also feel Wotchalike and Zando are real challengers for this one - its by no means clear cut. Heathyards Joy also features strongly having raced over both course and distance and suited I feel to this one - far too many other options here and good reason to oppose the favourite. Not particularly happy with the price was hoping a litte stronger but perhaps closer to the off things will change.

OUR KES 2.40 Wolverhampton.

She's a course and distance winner, and would have the bare form to go well in context with this race, but the weights are the thing to concentrate on here and she does appear to be in the grip of the handicapper now. Only ran 3 days ago and after going well and looking the winner, she then got very tired and looked very one paced. That appeared to be a weaker race than this too, so she does look up against it today. So up against several rivals who look better weighted and in fair enough form, I feel 'Our kes' will struggle today. She'll probably travel well and put the wind up me, but I half expect that, but then expect the weight to kick in and for her to struggle late on.

Reasoning	Never won on all weather and top weight. I know Jamie Spencer is on board, but I see at least 3 with good chances and Dr McFab will find it very toughd to win here.

4.40 wolverhampton - mr mcfab.

Don't think the handicapper has been too kind on this one to be honest, and I think he will struggle to win again, despite the jockey booking.

4.10 Wolverhampton, Dolce Dove, rpf 5/4

My sire info would indicate Dolce Dove should be better at 5f to 8f. Unplaced in 2 previous attempts at this distance and untried on the all weather. Price low because of the jockey but he doesn't win them all. Dana Music was 3rd at this distance at Lingfield recently and must be a serious contender. Campbell's Lad hasn't been out for a while but was 2nd here over this distance on his last run so must have a chance. Penecuik could be anything, should be suited to the distance and comes from a stable that has had 7 winners in the last 2 weeks so could go well. 2.36 looks a good price for a lay.
