In the 3.10 CHARLIE TOKYO should be a nice e/w price at around 14's hasn't shown much form of late but is a moody so and so will pop up at some stage and is well capable of winning this class3 event if on a going day.

Reasoning	I quite like Granston here, C&D winner and has ran some of hes best races at Ripon in the past. Stepping down in class today after running well last time out at Doncaster. Fav looks strong but I think can be opposed and I will side with Granston e/w.

Coleorton Choice is interesting in the 2.45.

Kevin Ryan's 2 yo colt is a half-brother to Coleorton Dancer, who was prolific as a 2 yo, racking up a four timer (two wins came on GS ground) and rising 16 lbs in the procress.

Coleorton Choice showed promise last time out at Haydock on his handicap debut, finishing a 0.56 length 3rd on heavy ground, after running on well inside the final furlong as he gained towards the finish. He was closely matched with 75-rated Susie Quw that day and 78-rated Favourite Girl, with the latter boosting the form with a good run here yesterday with a neck defeat in a listed race to Desert Phantom.

Coleorton Choice runs off 70 today but that would seem a fair mark given his performance in that class 2 handicap. Dropping down to class 4 level today he could have decent claims on ground that will suit.

Reasoning	Veronicas Boy could run well here at a price, Ran well over this trip a couple of runs ago at Hamilton, Trainer stepped him up in class the next race and he disappointed over 7f, back down to 6f today. Jockey having a good month. Big task to win this today but may be in with e/w claims, At the price im willing to take a chance.

I liked the look of Granston too but now he's out I'm gonna side with the fav, Rose Street.

2nd and 3rd boosted the form of his debut win at Kempton last year and although the form of his handicap 2nd to Kavachi at Yarm looks ordinary he had some decent horses behind LTO at Kempton on his reappearance. Hilbre Court and Russki are no mugs, especially on the AW, and the latter boosted the form by winning NTO at Kemp off 90.

There could be plenty more to come from Michael Jarvis' lighly raced filly although the price is very skinny at 5/4

2.45 Ripon Lisburn

Running well on his favourite soft ground and this is his distance. Handicapper gives him a great chance and Munro an interesting jockey booking for a stable he has a good record with.

Reasoning	This horse is a decent handicapper for Richard Fahey and he loves the soft conditions, which he will get today. He cant seem to put 2 good races together, but this drop down in class should see him return to form. He was well fancied in the John Smith's Cup at York, but never showed and I am hoping the drop down in class in the conditions he love could spark him back to life. At th price, I feel he is worth taking the risk with.
