Caught the eye last time on his debut after making a poor start, he made headway without being pressured. He wasnt unfancied there and the stables debutants usually improve for a run so should go better here.

Fiulin 3.00 Newmarket
Seen this horse twice at Doncaster and being impressed on both occasions. Slightly hampered over 10f on its seasonal debut but ran a fine enough race and looked like a next time out winner. Turned out again but over 12f and took time to find its stride but when doing so powered clear and won comfortably. The comeback race has had its form knocked with several of those contesting getting turned over since but I am paying more interest to this horse than what it raced against and the fact it managed to follow up when stepped up an extra 2f. Handicap debut off 85 but could be better than this.

1.35 Nisaal

Just under 12l eighth of 15 to subsequent Chester Vase third in a useful sort of maiden (second, third, sixth and tenth all won since).
Comes out well on the ratings (Topspeed & Racing Post).
Currently at 6/1 looks good Each Way value!

2.25 Newmarket

Short of time here so will be brief.

I backed Viva Vettori LTO at Kempton and though he was impressive, had the race one fairly early - not usual for an A/W Class 3 handicap. Would have to prove he is as good on turf but only a 4lb rise there and is still interesting for the season.

Oceana Gold ran a cracker LTO just getting collared late on by Proponent. The drop in trip will probably suit but is 5lb higher for that run.

Fondled starts the season on a fair mark, there is surely a handicap or two in her this season. The recent rain would've helped but stable form is a slight worry.

Sri Kuantan has disappointed after early season promise. He didn't act on the fibresand LTO and is a big price if he bounced back. If.

Non runners in the 3.00, taken the 11-4 instead now rather than going for the 3-1 with deductions.
