Bout 10 mins before I think. Wound up around 48 at the off. I backed him at Ascot and Goodwood (where he was given a terrible ride by the chump, sorry champ Seb). Thought the betting between Tariq and him was wrong.

The winner is class on his day clearly, but as with most Godolphin horses his form isn't consistent.

I rate the 2nd and I think I may be having a rare big bet in a group race on him later in the year.

Was it Creachadoir that was sweating up behind its back legs that was shown on Ch4 racing? Would have put me off backing it, I was trying to get on Betfair and missed most of the horses parading on TV etc.

It was, but not that much to be honest. It is never a good sign but it was slight enough for it to be ingored if you really fancied it.

It wasn't running down the legs or anything (oo-er) and could only be seen when walking.
