LOVE ON SIGHT 2.30 Lingfield.

Far from an original selection, but does look a good thing for this race on form shown so far and she should be able to handle the surface with handling turf on the fast side last year. Apparently been working well, so the others would simply need to improve beyond all expectations, and with the selection open to finding more herself, she should be very tough to beat. 'Baltic belle' is clear 2nd best, but looks fairly exposed now, so with needing more and being very vulnerable, you just can't be confident in much getting near the selection. So a short price, but does look the winner. ( I'll now await the shock result! )

It was between this one and Accordello in the 2.50.C.V is fit from jumping on a nice mark and goes well here.

Ran a poor race lto in France, in ground that was clearly far too soft. She ran a nice race the time before that though, and I feel that in firmer ground today, and with Mr Darley on board, she can make a good account of herself :-)

Cesc has won 3 out of his last 4 races. He lost his last race so will have a point to prove! The Jockey who won the 3/4 is Eddie Ahern he was not on him in his last race witch he lost but Eddie is back on him again today so hopefully he will push Resplendent Alpha to the limit.

4.50 Catterick ALWAYS BEST 1pt WIN

His form figures dont look that convincing recently, but a return to turf should suit him well and see him come home in front here. He has had runs on the AW, finishing 7th and 8th but he has been much more consistent on the turf with 4 places in 7 runs (1 fall). He will come on for the experience of age and Mark Johnstone will have him geared up for success today. Not too good of a price but he should beat his 2 rivals home.

Gained modest handicap mark in 3 runs at sprint distances but always likely to be better over further. Has twice failed to settle since being stepped up in trip but they went a steady pace on both occaisions and should go close today granted a decent pace to aim at.
