OK, I admit it, this idea was a load of rubbish, but plenty of other ideas to look into which I certainly will be doing Cheers for everyone's input

I don't think it was a load of rubbish, it's only once you put results to systems/ideas over an extended period that you can discount them. Keep firing out those ideas and we can all bounce thoughts off against one another.

Well what you got to lose except some of your time by paper trailing it for awhile you dont know for sure unless you give it a go you may find a patern emerges for you, some people lay the top weights in certain races at certain tracks and a small field or big field and they make money so why cant you with this idea,you may find one or two filters for it along the way but it's something you have picked up on. Like the guy on BF who lays Allan Keytes tips in the RP Naps table he noticed that AK tips are mostly odds on so backing them wouldn't produce much of a profit where as laying them has unlike the worst tipster who has 7 winners and 113 losers with his biggest losing run being 40 consecutive races alot of those were big prices and the liability was to much for my megre bank to sustain more than a couple of losing bets but if someone had a large enough bank roll then laying those horses would make money i think over the long run and as yet he hasn't had two winners in a row, but knowing my luck as soon as i layed a 50/1 shot for a tenner it would romp in by about 30 lengths lol. But you see where im coming from, you came up with it so give it a bash for a couple of months at home if you dont feel like posting it GL

When you were looking at this did you consider the vastly overrated prices that can be obtained on betfair for such horses.

Just looking at yesterday on bottom weights was +45 points or so.

The day before -15 points

Day before +76 points I think

Day before that -25 points

Could be food for thought
