A wide open race that could go the way of Haajes. Jamie Balding's gelding has been running in much tougher races than this and drops into class 4 company for the first time in almost a year. Successfull off 3 lb higher marks on the turf and AW previously he is undeniably well handicapped on the pick of his form and can exploit the opposition here for his first win since February.

Preference goes to EVERYBODY KNOWS who has won her last two on turf (most recently over today's distance) and can go well again today. That most recent win has worked out well, form-line wise, with the 2nd horse that day finishing 23 since and the 3rd placed horse managing 51 since. Can make all from a good draw.

Reasoning	Promising debut when finishing 5th and would have went alot closer if not been hampered 1furlong out. Has Mark Johnstons horse to beat here but Hannon's two year olds continue in top form and he represents the value at 2/1.

Reasoning	Races off a mark 2lb lower than his last winning mark and his run at Thirsk last time suggested he was returning to form. Won this race last year and with conditions absolutely ideal, he should take all the beating and looks good value at 3/1.

Think this Irish trained runner has a chance in this although hasn't been at its best so far this year has won a couple of 6f race so the fact they come over here and this is there only runner here makes me think this horse will bounce back and will go well tonight off a reasonable mark.

The re-emergence of Henry Cecil over the past season or two will have pleased most race followers. This is certainly not one of his stable stars but was modestly supported on its sole 2YO run last year and will be better for an extra year and two extra furlongs

Doncaster 20:45 - Who's Shirl - BetFrd 16/1Has bits and pieces of form and is well drawn. They seem to have been unsure of the precise trip required and on past showings this ought to be just about right - stable is admittedly not in great form, hope this might be changing tonight

A chance is taken on SLIP STAR in the lucky last at Donny. Her sole win (from 20) came exactly a year ago in the same event (obvioulsy over C+D) and also with identical ground conditions. She is now back to an identical mark as that joyous day. Jockey in decent nick recently (8/34) and Trainer can land a big price. Inconsistent at best but happy to take an eachway punt on her and hope a good draw can help her run into a place.

Fancy Footsteps - I'm an ardent follower of this one. Has been out of form since returning from a little lay off but looks handicapped to win more races and with Robinson booked could potentially go well at a price. 10/1 Hills.
