| I did have one based around the lesser class horses (from class D to selling races). It gradually built up until it had around 80 horses in with atleast a record of one run. Some horses had ran a fair few times and i'd got records of 5 and 6 of their runs. One day i realised it wasn't worth the trouble because the winning horses usually stepped up in class and then were out of there depth. So i just stopped doing it If your prepared to spend time and work on it, then it may help but i wouldnt say it is a 'must' to have. On an off note - the first horse i entered was a horse called 'Al Qudra' who finished second in the big fillies race at newmarket saturday at a huge price!! |

| The Racing Post online service covers most angles and for the rest I would suggest buying Raceform Update. The latter gives you an alternative view to speed figures and a quick review of all races run the week before plus other useful stats. |
