| Brighton 4.30 Causual Garcia WIN Won with loads in hand at Lingfield LTO having showed nothing in his previous 6 outings. He is still well treated and is a typical Prescott type who will improve and improve. His run at Lingfield shows he has enough to win this.

| 15.45 Hamilton 1m 1f 36y Eight go to post here for this Class 5 handicap. It looks a strong enough race with a lot of distance winners in it and some course and distance winners. The horse im going for is Hawkit. He is a course and distance winner and handles most types of ground. The soft ground should be of no problem to him. He was second threedays ago in Newcastle in a Class 4 handicap. He is carring more weight today but is a progressive horse and has a good chance. He has won twice here in Hamiliton and has won 4 times over this distance. His last win was last year over this course and distance so i expect him to return to winning ways today. The trainer also runs Shy Glance in this race who won last time out at Ayr but Hawkit is my choice of these horses. He is around 10/3 or 3/1 at the moment. HAWKIT WIN ![]() |

| Hamilton 5.15 I'm short for time here. I made Kenmore my BBOTD on Thursday night. He is well handicapped on last season's form, especially the form of last Spring. Did well to get so close to Shot To Fame from a wide draw at Lingfield (2nd and 3rd won since) and runs here off a 2lb lower mark. Got too far behind last week but ran on well for 2nd. Doesn't usually win handicaps but has a massive chance as long as he doesn't get taken off his feet early. Having a decent size E/W bet on him. Kenmore - EW |

| 445 Hamilton : Rothesay Dancer EW Third time lucky with this one having put it up the last twice without success, i'm convinced he's on a winning mark, usually dropped out for a late run but last time broke well and maybe too much use of him was made early. Kelly Harrison back on board today who knows him better than anyone so a final chance is given seeing as the price is nice. |

| 2 45 hamilton GUTO 1PT LAY (RP 11/4) Awful form coming into this race even though it is a drop in class i dont think he can win this. 2 Others that i think have a better chance of winning |

| 3.15 Hamilton Johnny Friendly (E/W) Forgiving him his pull at the start of his last race, he ran really well, only being headed inside the final furlong, and he rallied well, only 2nd by a neck. With a 7lb claimer on board bringing the weight down to a manageable level, the price is right at circa 7/1 |

| 3.15 Hamilton - WILLYN (0.5pt EW) We have a short priced favourite here in Deep Quest and the value for me is Jim Goldies Willyn. This horse was well beaten last time in 4th but the winner, Willkandoo won by 14L and has since been rated 74 so the form is not as bad as it seems. Seems to want a stiff test of stamina and this stiff mile will suit this horse down to the ground. Has to improve to beat the favourite but should be staying on all the time and ought to run a big race. |

| 7-20 Thirsk - Soto - each way Has only run over 7 furlongs three times in 41 races, but imo looks like he's needed it for well over a year. Easterbys son David reckoned that 6 was his trip when quoted in June 2006 after winning a Class 2 handicap off 68 at Newcastle on good to firm ground. He's had 30 races since, 25 over 6, and won 1, off 63, at Yarmouth, on good to soft. He's on 63 tonight, and as 6 furlongs doesn't suit him, if 7 doesn't, he's a glue factory job ![]() Top shop price is 20s with Bet365 but a LUDICROUS 10/1 with Ladbrokes. Drifted overnight on Befair from 15 to 32 in the win market and is 6.4 for a place.

| 8.00 Ling Woodcote EW 14/1, 3 places 1/5 odds One play on the AW. Gonna give Woodcote a chance on a career low mark. Bare form looks poor but been running in better races than this and a decent enough 4th in class 2. Placed in only other AW start in cl 2 at Kempton. Certainly has a big race coming up, hopefully tonight! A lot of the opponents are creeping up the weights, China Cherub is a danger here in my opinion though, value pick here though.

| Thirsk 7.50 - Importants News - 1 point to win M Johnston handicap debutante. Just had the minimum 3 runs required to get a mark, improving each time. Last time out finished 3rd, RP noted him 'staying on nicely from the rear of the field' , err.......'being schooled' I think they call it........ ![]() Starts his hcap career off 67.........this looks lenient looking at that last race. The horse that beat him under 2 lengths at level weights is rated 80 The horse around 2 length behind him and getting 5lbs is rated 70 So.......he's done well to get a mark of 67 The only question is.......will he be 'off' tonight or is it another practice run ?................... ![]() |

| Important News 7.50 Thirsk (EW) M Johnstone is currently 2nd most successful trainer at this course and is +£15.13 with his 3yr old runners. He only sends two horses this short 22 mile trip to Thirsk and this one showed some improvement on good to firm ground last time out over 7f and was only beaten 5 lengths. His horses often improve when handicapping and the extra 1f could be a plus. Will go on the ground and the race looks quite open. The favourite Montiboli has only been running in class 5 and class 6 races and I don't fancy it at 3-1. I'd rather have some win/place on Betfair on Important News.

| 8.30 Lingfield GREEN PIRATE Typical hold up performer that needs everything to fall right for him to win. He was very unlucky last time out when I backed him and I thought Liam Keniry gave him a poor ride. Tom Queally takes the ride tonight and there looks certain to be a strong pace. You cant guarantee him getting a run, but if he does, I think he will finish very close in what is a poor race. EW Bet please. ![]() ![]() |

| Hope it's ok for me to join in. 20.00 Lingfield Yankee Storm 1pt Win Likes the surface, off same mark when 2nd in a G3 to Honey Monster. Same distance, still improving, should have a chance. |

| Thirsk 8.50 BRUT Back to earlier winning mark when winning at Catterick over 5f. Likes to take a course on & on this ground anything is possible. Barker puts up Adele rothery tonight with a handy claim, 25/1 at laddies is too big to miss EW
