Ok guys time to get the Cup sorted out, as usual it is open for all players that took part in the first TC and wasnt eliminated before the cut off.
We had 137 players at that stage but Expert has dropped out so we have 136, need to get that down to 64 by the third round on Jan 5th.
The Cup will run along side the FA Cup as far as dates are concerned, the only difference being is our Final will be on the last day of our 'TC Season' which will be on May 3rd.
For those that are not familiar with the scoring and format of a TC Cup this is how we do it;
Prediction Format
This will follow the same as last season with players predicting 3 correct scores from any matches taking place on that partucular weekend.
The same match can be picked by both players but NOT the exact same scoreline, first to post will stand the other void if this happens.
The 3pm Saturday deadline applies to all Cup Bets
Scoring Method - Each player in the Cup will select any 3 matches from the Odds thread
- Players will predict the scores for each match selected
- Points will be awarded as folows for each match selected
- 2pts for the correct RESULT (home, draw, away)
- 1pts for the correct amount of goals for either team (2pts available)
- 1pt BONUS for the Correct Score of the match
- 5pts Maximum can be scored from each match
- Scores from all 3 matches will be added together to give a final total
- No results can be copied if already chosen by the first poster in their particular match, but the same match can be picked until the Semi Finals where all games will be by PM and therefore the same score will be allowed.
- Anyone can post first, first come first served.
- In the event of a tie, a replay will be played the following week and if thats a tie nearest number of total goals predicted will win.
- In the event of a P-P game being selected, this can be replaced by the usual deadline, if not replaced it will be declared void and will carry 0pts. (reserve matches can be posted)
It will all become clear as we go on and i will update proceedings on a regular basis to remind who plays who and when, just keep a lookout for the 'Cup' sticky's at the top of the forum.

14 : Division 6
13 : Division 7
16 : Conf 'A'
15 : Conf 'B'
Round 2 : Dec 1st (TC 2 Week 6)
74 players made up from the following;
35 : Qualifiers from Round 1
12 : Division 2
13 : Division 3
14 : Division 4
Round 3 : Jan 5th (TC 3 Week 1)
64 players made up from the following;
37 : Qualifiers from Round 2
14 : Division 1
13 : Premier Division
Round 4 : Jan 26th (TC 3 Week 4)
Round 5 : Feb 16th (TC 3 Week 7)
Round 6 : Mar 8th (TC 4 Week 1)
Semi Finals : Apr 5th (TC 4 Week 5)
Final : May 3rd (TC 4 Week 9)
*Any players that were eliminated in week 9 of the first TC that do not post in the first two weeks of the new season will be replaced by new players, this will be in the order from the overall table at week 2.
All players will retain their divisional status from TC 1 for the purposes of the Cup draw. For example if you were in Div 1 last week but have been promoted or relegated you will still be classed as a division one player for the Cup duration. Any future eliminations will result in a bye for the opponent.
