While we are at it, I'm quite sure Morecambe aren't supposed to be in the Conference. Didn't you actually finish 2nd in the Unibond in the early 90s, but the ground of the team who won the title (Marine?) wasn't up to Conf standard? Meanwhile, WE should be in the Conf, as we actually stayed up on the last day of the season a few years back, only to be kicked out on financial grounds. This was because the nice Mr Stephen Vaughan (former chairman) thought it would be a lovely gesture to leave us 500 000 quid in debt. >:
By the way, we have heard that Morecambe have tabled an offer for Chester City striker Michael Twiss. Does this mean that Curtis is there for the taking?
