I dont know if this has been brought up before, nor if its possible, but I think it could be a great idea.
Would anyone else be interested in forming, basically, a PL syndicate. We could buy the horse, send it to a trainer and then set up a private area for all the members of the syndicate. I dont know what the costs would be like nor the amount of members we could get, but we could find that out.
For many people, owning a racehorse is far too expensive and a bit of a dream. However, I am sure everyone would love to be part of a syndicate with fellow PL'ers, and it would seem more homely than just joining an ordinary syndicate.
We could maybe even use it as sponsorship and call the horse Punters Lounge or something,
Just an idea and dont know what anyone else thinks of it but I would love to hear your thoughts. I know some people think it is a waste of time as you can buy a horse and it can finish stone last time and time again. But if the costs were spread between members, maybe with an annual payment, it may not be too costly.
What do you lot think ?
