I'm not sure if this is meant to piss off Scottish people or Birmingham fans, I suspect it's the former, but the latter would be much more on the mark.
I was never that happy with McLeish as a manager. Sure plenty of Scots will agree.
He was found out with Hibs towards the end, and never impressed at Rangers for me. Got some lucky results, to make it appear better, but the team played dreadful football and Rangers fans were by and large delighted to see him go.
As for Scotland he took the great work that Smith did and carried it on, it was a maint job, nothing more. I was sad to lose Smith, a guy with a great footballing mind, but McLeish ? no biggie. I'm actually rather pleased. This helps our WC chances
Not remotely stressed to lose him, we can and will do a lot better. I have no doubt he'll relegate Birmingham in style.
