Default Re: Germany - Bundesliga II (Nov 23-26)

Kaiserslautern v Mainz

I expect a passionte game and it smells like a few goal will happen. K'lautern can reduce gap to first non relegation place down to 1 point, the problem is that Mainz are not easy to play. But the FCK are on uptrend, in 2/3 of recent matches they could impress. The 1-2 at Aachen was very unlucky, at the end it was their fault anyway, missingy by far too much. Before, the away game at Augsburg had reminded of earlier season, last home game vs. Aue was the second home win in a row. Maybe the new manager Toppmöller really affects the team in a positvie way, also his plan to sign new players should push the team. There is some hope around the Betzenberg again what should give them a good support tonight. From the expected team, Schönheim is doubtful, Bohl and Stachink from wider squad as well.

Mainz are still on 3 but chased by numerous teams, besides the first 2 teams are a few points away now. They're undefeated in last 5 though where from not all performaces were like what they're capable of. Besides, Mainz suffered all 3 defeats on the road. Last 2 away performances were convincing ones though, drawing unluckily at Paderborn and winning 3-1 at Wehen. Wing player Wellington is doubtful for tonight, defender Demirtas suffered from flu last week. Midfielder Feulner returns into team what gives offence play even more strength again.

I think it might give a open game more or less, slight advantage for Mainz since they're the better team and play a by far better season. But I doubt that Mainz will win it clearly so that I just put a unit on Mainz by 1 goal. The best bet should bet the over though as I hardly expect much tactics. Mainz with slight tendency to the overs, K'lautern with only 3 overs so far what leads to nice over odds. Lautern only scored 10 so far but I expect them to do so here, the same for regular scorer Mainz of course who conceded in each of last 6 games. Both teams suffer from various missings of keepers. It's a derby as well what might spice it up further.

Over 2.5 goals
@ 2.0 betdaq 5/10
Mainz (-1) HC Tie @ 4.5 bet365 1/10
