I'd expect a PC release date around Oct 2008.

The Pc versions of previous GTA games have shipped a year after console release. No techincal reason for that given the current dev platforms allows stuff to be ported simply. It's a cash issue, pc releases are cracked faster, this would damage console sales.

I'm toying with buying a console out of poker winnings anyway, not sure which I want it to function as a media centre and replace my DVD player
