Default FC København

Ailton Almeida from Örgryte to FC København
Reportedly a 23 million DKK transfer (just about 2 million pounds.)
Young brazilian striker Ailton has been expected with great anticipation by many FCK fans, myself included.
I do not have a lot of information about him, his agent said a lot of bigger clubs around Europe has had sensors out, but that FCK seemed the best solution.
He is a good technical and fast striker, who scores a lot of goals. Lately his goal haul has not been that big, most people think that this is down to either his thoughts being with his new club, or a minor injury he's being playing with.
He is supposed to be a bit like Alvaro Santos, whom FCK sold this summer, just smaller, weaker and faster.

I think he will be a good addition to the very thin striking line FCK has with only Berglund and Allbäck being pure strikers, with Pimpong, Grønkjær and Hutchinson sometimes taking the offensive duties. Berglund is not the speedy striker FCK had wished to buy, at least not for the European cups, he has been performing well in the domestic league, but I think Ailton will be able to add some more international class.

G:G: "I´m pretty sure he´ll turn out to be an excellent player for FCK. I have seen him play several times, and he is already a high class player, and he will hopefully continue to get better and develope in to a really great player. You never know for sure, but he has a huge potential."

I have to add, that I have never seen this guy in action, but have made some research on him, and he seems quite the talent.

I will give him the rating 5, based on my very limited knowledge, but FCK really have been needing some firepower in the Champions League, and I think he can add that, if FCK manage to get to that point once again.

Niclas Jensen from Fulham to FCK
Reportedly on a free transfer, from 1'st of February.

Niclas Jensen, who has been in and out of different clubs away from Denmark, has finally decided to go home to Denmark again.
The Danish international found himself out of favour, after Coleman got Quedrue, who was in front of him.
Niclas Jensen is offensively a genius, while he might be lacking a bit defensively by international standards. Not by SAS league standards, he's quite above average defensively and will become a great asset offensively with Grønkjær, whom he's been linking up with on the national team before.

FCK now have 3 defenders that cover the left side of the back line, with Wendt being the young talent, Jensen the experienced, yet still quite young (31,) player. Then Bergdølmo will most likely work as a cover player on all the 4 positions in the back-line which he masters.

4, this is taking into consideration that FCK already have Wendt, who's been performing excellently lately, coming on Skysports CL team of the week. But Niclas is a definate buy for any Danish club in my eyes

FC København have done well on the transfer market, getting 2 players giving a score of 9, and an average score of 4.5 like Brøndby.
They've added some international quality through Jensen, and in Ailton they've gotten a potential star: "I´m pretty sure he´ll turn out to be an excellent player for FCK. I have seen him play several times, and he is already a high class player, and he will hopefully continue to get better and develope in to a really great player. You never know for sure, but he has a huge potential." Quote: G:G
