Re: Globet! All bookies act like this to some extent.
1) To attract customers a bookie will occasionally offer odds that are better than anywhere else.
2) Punters will then hammer the odds, placing loads of money until the bookie starts looking at making a loss if the selection loses.
3) Then the bookie will shorten the odds.This makes the bet look unattractive compared to elsewhere and hence not much more money gets placed.
So probably you will get this everywhere else as well, not just Globet.
That said however, I think that Globet are probably a small bookie and so maybe they can't handle the prospect of any loss, and so maybe are quicker than others to shorten their odds when the line starts getting hammered.
(Personally I think navigating through the Globet site is very onerous.)
