Louis van Gaals AZ side can deal a huge blow to Feyenoord here in Alkmaar today. Feyenoord have stuttered lately to effectively hand the title to PSV, 2 dropped points at home to RKC was devestating for them. Even though they have a fantastic record here with 7 wins in 10 visits AZ did crucially win last years fixture 4-1 and they're a much better side than in any of the previous meets. They're firmly established in the top 4 in Holland and are not to be under rated. van Gaal has continued last season attacking football this season and the goals have been flowing for AZ. Worryingly at home they've lost their last 2 games to PSV and Utrecht. Back to back away wins at Willem II and NEC shows they are back to form. Arveladze has been in sensational form and is backed up well by Ajax bound Kenny Perez. Landzaat will have his hands full today with Nicky Hofs in fine form for the Rotterdam side, if he can keep him quiet and stop the flow of balls to the impressive Kuyt then AZ can register a vital win.
